Even at this late stage of the college football season, it would be a brave person who would come out and predict the final four. We have seen several teams slip out of a playoff spot after taking a surprise loss, with the Michigan State Spartans the latest to fall prey to an upset defeat. The only real given at this point is that the Georgia Bulldogs will be the #1 team in the country, but we will see what the Playoff Committee has in store for every other team once they release their next set of rankings on Tuesday night. The great thing for fans is that there are a lot of great races alive in each of the major conferences, so a lot to look forward to in Week 11. Let’s take a look at some of those bigger games as we make our SU Picks for the week so you can bet against their NCAAF odds.

College Football SU Picks for Week 11 to Bet On

Michigan Wolverines over Penn State Nittany Lions

This is perhaps the perfect option for a straight up pick, as the bookies have this as close to a pick ‘em play as it gets, with the Nittany Lions currently favored by 1 point at home. The Michigan Wolverines bounced back after losing a big one to Michigan State and are still alive in the race to win the Big Ten East Division. They do, though, need to win out, assuming that the Ohio State Buckeyes continue to roll, so most of the pressure is on the Wolverines heading into this one. They have certainly had the upper hand in this matchup over the years, going 13-7 SU in their last 20 meetings with the Nittany Lions. Penn State snapped out of a 3-game losing skid with a win last time out, but I think they get back to losing in this game.

Louisville Cardinals over Syracuse Orange

For the teams that are not anywhere near the playoff or conference championship conversation, the final weeks of the season are all about securing a bowl game. Syracuse can become bowl eligible with a win in Week 11, while Louisville needs to pick up a couple more wins over the final 3 games of their season. There is a good reason to believe that they might get one of those wins this weekend, as they are at home and have won 6 of their last 10 meetings with the Orange. Syracuse is also just not a very good bet away from home, going 1-6 SU in their last 7 road games. Louisville is on a run that has seen them win 6 in a row at home versus Syracuse.

Miami Hurricanes over Florida State Seminoles

There is nothing like a great rivalry game, and we have a good one coming this weekend, with the Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles set to renew hostilities. These are the types of games where the record book goes out the window and where we can usually expect the unexpected. On paper, the Hurricanes look to be a very good pick here, as they have been in very good form, winning each of their last 3 games. Florida State has now lost 2 in a row and is struggling to get anything going on offense. Miami is 8-3 in their last 11 games versus teams from the ACC, while the Seminoles are 4-10 in their last 14 conference games.
