Now, let’s get started.
In Depth Analysis On The 2016 NFL Week 7 Early Predictions For Every Game
Thursday, October 20, 2016Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers (-9)
The Chicago Bears snapped a four-game losing streak against the Packers in the second of their two regular season meetings in 2015 and they’re my pick to cover a point spread I feel is a few points too high.
Sunday, October 23, 2016New York Giants vs. Los Angeles Rams (PK) (In London)
Simply put, Eli Manning will make more plays in the UK than whoever starts for the Rams in this Week 7 NFC battle. The G-Men win and cover the NFL betting line as a pick ‘em.
New Orleans Saints at Kansas City Chiefs (-8)
The Chiefs are the better overall team and certainly have the better defense in this Week 7 Inter-conference clash, but Drew Brees and the Saints will put enough points on the board to cover, just as they did in going 6-3 ATS as an underdog in 2015.
Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans (+3.5)
The Colts have dominated this series against their AFC South division rivals by winning nine straight while going 8-1 ATS during the span.
Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles (+1.5)
The Vikings are the better team in all three phases in this Week 7 affair and will cover the spread against a rebuilding Philly team with ease after going 7-1 ATS on the road last season.
Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals (-11.5)
The Bengals have owned their AFC North division rivals by winning three straight with each victory coming by at least 21 points. I like Andy Dalton and company to win again and cover the spread as a double-digit home favorite, even though I expect an improved Browns team in 2016.
Washington Redskins at Detroit Lions (-1)
I like Detroit’s Matthew Stafford to outgun counterpart Kirk Cousins while Lions’ head coach Jim Caldwell schools the Skins’ Jay Gruden. Detroit wins and covers the spread as a slight home fave.
Oakland Raiders at Jacksonville Jaguars (PK)
The Oakland Raiders may be a team on the rise, but I like Jacksonville to bring home the bacon as a home pick ‘em against a Raiders team they should matchup up well with. Oakland posted an impressive 6-2 ATS mark on the road last season, but the Jags were a respectable 4-4 ATS at home.
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins (-1)
The Bills beat the hell out of the Dolphins in each of their two regular season meetings a year ago and have won five of the last six meetings overall. I fully expect Rex Ryan’s aggressive defense to pretty much scare the hell out of Miami signal-caller Ryan Tannehill en route to the road win and ATS cover.
Baltimore Ravens at New York Jets (-4)
The Jets win a tight affair against the Ravens, but only by three points. Baltimore covers.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers (PK)
The Niners have talent and Chip Kelly is one of the most innovative offensive minds in the game today! Frisco covers at home against a Tampa Bay team that will have a first-time head coach in 2016.
San Diego Chargers at Falcons (-3)
Both teams have high-scoring offenses led by veteran signal-callers, but he Falcons are playing at home and have the better defense. Be on Atlanta to get the ATS cover!
New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers (N/A)
The Patriots will lose at least two games with Tom Brady under center and this Week 7 road date at Pittsburgh will be one of them!
Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals (-1)
The Seahawks and Cardinals are both elite, but for some reason, Seattle has owned Arizona by winning three of four with each victory coming by at least 16 points. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks get it done again!
Monday, October 24, 2016Houston Texans at Broncos (-6.5)
The Broncos maybe the defending Super Bowl champs, but I like Brock Osweiler and the Texans to cover the spread against a Broncos team that went 4-7-2 TS as a favorite a year ago!
