NFL 2020 Week 12 O/U Picks Expert Analysis

Written by on November 25, 2020

With the outbreak of COVID among the Baltimore Ravens, we have all been waiting to hear about the status of their Thursday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. To no one’s real surprise, the game has now been moved to Sunday. While that is sure to be disappointing to fans who were looking forward to watching this one on Thanksgiving night, at least it will still be going ahead. This is just one of many big games on the Week 12 NFL schedule, as we are getting down to the heart of the divisional races and the battle for those all-important playoff spots. With that in mind, let’s get straight into our O/U picks for Week 12 so you can make your bets against their NFL odds.

Week 12 O/U Picks for the 2020 Season | NFL Betting

Cleveland Browns at Jacksonville Jaguars (UNDER 49 ½)

This has been the best season in quite some time for the Cleveland Browns, but ending the year with a winning record will mean nothing if it does not land them in the playoffs. At 7-3, the Browns are very much in the playoff picture, and while you would certainly expect them to win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have not won a game since Week 1, these are also the types of games that can serve as a bit of a banana peel for teams who are not suitably prepared. While the Browns have been picking up wins this season, they have not really been getting sucked into high-scoring games, with 4 of their last 5 going the way of the UNDER. It has been much the same story with the Jaguars, with 4 of their last 6 going UNDER the point total.

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets (OVER 44 ½)

While most of us are now keeping a close eye on the playoff race in both conferences, many of us are also watching the disaster that is the New York Jets. They come into this weekend sitting at 0-10 and looking like a team that could well go winless this season. The Miami Dolphins will be looking to bounce back after seeing their 5-game winning streak come to an end in Denver last weekend. Tua looked very much like a rookie in that game and was pulled, but he is expected to be back under center this weekend. The trend that really jumps out when looking at this matchup is that 8 of the last 10 meetings between these two in the Big Apple have gone under. I think we see that script flipped this weekend, as I like the OVER.

LA Chargers at Buffalo Bills (OVER 53 ½)

This has been the year of the rookie QB in the NFL, with Tua, Joe Burrow, and Justin Herbert all looking like legitimate NFL starters. With Burrow now done for the season and Tua starting late, you have to say that Justin Herbert of the Chargers is looking like a Rookie of the Year candidate. He will get another chance to make his case when he and the Chargers head into Buffalo to face the high-flying Bills. This is on that has all the makings of a shootout, with the Chargers seeing each of their last 5 games go OVER. They have also seen 8 of their last 9 road games so that same route. As for the Bills, they have seen 8 of their last 10 overall go OVER.
