The Los Angeles Chargers might be off to a slow start that hasn’t lived up to their Super Bowl hopes so far, but the Bolts will almost assuredly have no problems in getting past the awful Miami Dolphins when the two AFC rivals square off in their Week 4 matchup this coming Sunday. While the Bolts look like the easy pick to get the SU win this coming weekend, let’s find out right now if the Chargers can cover the big spread as two-touchdown-plus road favorites.

I have absolutely no faith in the Dolphins to cover any point spread right now and even though they looked semi-competent in the first half against Dallas last weekend, I’m fully expecting the Chargers to put their collective feet on Miami’s neck to get the convincing win in this contest.

I know the Chargers are an awful 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings against the Dolphins and a winless 0-4 ATS in their last four road dates against Miami, but the Dolphins are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in September and 0-6 ATS in their last six games overall. Outside of the key trends surrounding this contest, the Chargers are by far, the better team on both sides of the ball and I like the Bolts to win and cover the chalk.
