Top NHL Playoffs Parlay Betting Picks for Round 1 Series Matches

In the opening round of the playoffs, you expect that there will be a couple of teams who breeze through relatively unscathed. This year, the Colorado Avalanche look to be the only team about to make that happen, as all the other series are tight in the early going. The next couple of days will see a team or two take control of their respective series, but as we are seeing to this point, predicting these games has not been easy. Let’s take a look at the next couple of days to see if we can pick some winners so you can bet against their NHL Playoffs Odds.

Parlay Picks to Wager On From May 9th to 10th | NHL Playoffs Betting

NHL Parlay – Panthers, Penguins, Flames, Avalanche – Monday

Landing the #1 seed is the goal of every team in the regular season, but we all know that getting it is no guarantee of success. The Florida Panthers are finding that out the hard way, as they are in a 1-2 hole versus the Capitals. I think they tie the series up on Monday night.

We always knew that the Rangers and Penguins series was going to be a close one, which is exactly how it has played out. The Penguins have a shot at going up 3-1 when they play on home ice. I think we can expect another tight game, but I am leaning toward Pittsburgh here.

We are seeing another top seed in trouble, with the #2 seeded Calgary Flames 2-1 down to the Dallas Stars after winning Game 1. The Flames need a win on the road in Dallas on Monday night, and I like them to go out and get it.

As we mentioned at the top of this piece, the Colorado Avalanche are the one team making this look easy. They will be looking to sweep the series in Nashville on Monday night and given how things have gone, you have to like them to do it.

NHL Parlay – Hurricanes, Maple Leafs, Wild, Oilers – Tuesday

I’ll admit that, given how things went in the regular season series, that the Hurricanes would blow past the Boston Bruins. Instead, we head back to Carolina with the series tied 2-2. I like the Hurricanes to take advantage of home ice and get the win.

Another great series is the one between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the 2-time defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning. This series has swung back and forth to be tied at 2-2. We all know the Leafs playoff issues, but I think they take a stranglehold on the series with a win in Game 5.

The series between the St. Louis Blues and the Minnesota Wild is also tied at 2-2, with the series moving back to Minnesota on Tuesday night. The Wild still have home ice advantage in this one, which I think they use to get the series lead.

You are going to find that this parlay pick follows a very similar pattern from start to finish. We have another series tied up at 2-2, with the Edmonton Oilers heading home to try and take the lead over the LA Kings, which is exactly what I think they will do.
