2021 NFL Regular Season – Week 14 Odds Analysis & Picks

2021 NFL Week 14

  • When: Thursday, Dec. 9 – Monday, Dec. 13

Pittsburgh Steelers at Minnesota Vikings -3

  • When: Thursday, Dec. 9

Linebacker T.J. Watt didn’t show up on Pittsburgh’s injury report. Watt should pressure Kirk Cousins all day. The Vikings host Pittsburgh after losing to Detroit, making them a team to stay away from. Steelers straight up is the play.

NFL Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers moneyline

Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs -9 ½

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

In the last head-to-head, the Chiefs dusted the Raiders 41-14. That game happened in Las Vegas. Don’t be surprised if Patrick Mahomes and his mates win this one by an even bigger difference. The Chiefs’ D is playing lights out. So Derek Carr and his mates might not reach 10 points.

NFL Pick: Kansas City Chiefs

New Orleans Saints -5 ½ at New York Jets

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

It’s hard to like the Saints versus anybody right now. But on Sunday, there’s a chance Alvin Kamara, Terron Armstead, and Marcus Davenport return. If all three players return, New Orleans should cover.

NFL Pick: New Orleans Saints

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans -9

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

The Jaguars are terrible. Not only that, but the Titans must keep pace with 1-seed New England and hold off the Indianapolis Colts in the suddenly tight AFC South. Tennessee has something to play for, making them the pick.

NFL Pick: Tennessee Titans

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns -2 ½

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

The Browns offense hasn’t scored more than 13 in four of their last five games. On Sunday, though, Baker Mayfield and the offense can get healthy. Baltimore is the overall better team, but John Harbaugh’s crew doesn’t have the cornerbacks to stop the Browns. Cleveland covers.

NFL Pick: Cleveland Browns

Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers -3

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

The Panthers fired their offensive coordinator. Although that might help, the truth is that Atlanta has the better offense. The Falcons will move the football. Also, the Panthers have given up on the season. Here’s another decent ML underdog play.

NFL Pick: Atlanta Falcons moneyline

Dallas Cowboys -4 at Washington Football Team

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

The Cowboys dust an injury-ravaged Saints team and suddenly they’re worth laying -4 on the road versus their biggest rivals? We don’t think so.

Commanders quarterback Taylor Heinicke is on fire. He’s recorded QB ratings of 90 or higher in the Football Team’s last 4 games, all victories. In Taylor we trust.

NFL Pick: Washington Football Team moneyline

Seattle Seahawks -7 ½ at Houston Texans

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

Seattle safety Jamal Adams will miss the remainder of the season. But even without Adams, the Seahawks D should have no trouble containing the hapless Texans offense. Russell Wilson played well in the upset victory against the 49ers in Week 13. Seattle makes it two straight SU and ATS.

NFL Pick: Seattle Seahawks

Detroit Lions at Denver Broncos -8

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

In NFL Week 13, Detroit won their first game of the season. Don’t expect the Lions to win their second. Denver’s defense played great in the loss to the Chiefs. So if Teddy Bridgewater and the offense can get it going, the Ponies should blow out the Lions.

NFL Pick: Denver Broncos

New York Giants at Los Angeles Chargers -10 ½

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

Sure, the Bolts looked fantastic in the 41-22 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. But that game turned after Cincy running back Joe Mixon fumbled the ball, the Chargers scooped it up, and ran it back for 6. NYG has a solid rushing attack and LAC still has trouble stopping the run. The Giants can keep this closer than the spread.

NFL Pick: New York Giants

San Francisco 49ers at Cincinnati Bengals -1

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

Joe Burrow is listed as questionable due to a pinkie issue. The chances are Burrow steps onto the field, though, which means, for now at least, Cincinnati is the play.

NFL Pick: Cincinnati Bengals

Buffalo Bills at Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

Buffalo failed to beat their biggest rivals, the New England Patriots, in Week 13. The Bills won’t suddenly picks themselves up against Tampa Bay in Week 14. Also, Tom Brady is 32-3 versus the Bills.

NFL Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers -12 ½

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 12

The Bears can play hard, but they’re just not good enough to hang with the Packers. In recent seasons, Green Bay has owned rival Chicago. So even though the spread is massive, the Packers should cover.

NFL Pick: Green Bay Packers

Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals -3

  • When: Monday, Dec. 13

Kyler Murray should be sharper in his second game back from an injury. So should DeAndre Hopkins. There’s also the fact that even though the Rams won their last 37-7 it was against the horrible Jacksonville Jaguars. Zona wins and covers.

NFL Pick: Arizona Cardinals
