The first race of the IndyCar Season should set the tone. The more crucial races, though, happen on April 2 and April 16.

It’s impossible not to watch and wager on the Daytona 500. NASCAR’s first race every season is a celebration of America’s top motor sport.

Every race before the Coke Zero 400 will be a mad rush to get into the top 16. The Coke Zero 400 is the final race for drivers to notch their ticket to the NASCAR Playoffs.

The most important four races in the NASCAR Playoffs are the championship on November 5, and the final race for each round: the Bass Pro Shops Night Race, the Bank of America Roval 400, and the Xfinity 400.

Those three races will be the last chances for drivers to move from the Round of 16, to the Round of 12, to the Round of 8, and to the Championship 4.

The past two Formula 1 seasons, Red Bull and top driver Max Verstappen have dominated. Things could change dramatically this season because F1 will run three races in the United States: the Miami Grand Prix, the United States Grand Prix, and a race in Las Vegas.

All three races made the list. So did the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 5, which opens the Formula 1 season, and the British Grand Prix on July 11.

George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes top two drivers and both Great Britain citizens, will be looking to win the British Grand Prix. This year’s race in the United Kingdom could determine which driver heads into late summer and early fall with the best chance of winning the title.

F1 ends their season with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. If Mercedes and Ferrari can compete with Red Bull this year, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix could determine the constructor and driver championships.
