Top NCAAB Betting Picks for the Week – December 3rd Edition

Wednesday, Dec. 5

Washington Huskies at #1 Gonzaga Bulldogs

It’s early, but the Zags are playing out of their minds. They’ve gone 7-1 ATS while running out to an 8-0 straight up record. Gonzaga should dominate the Huskies from the beginning in this one.

Although Washington shows only 2 losses on their record, the time they battled a Top 10 squad, that Top 10 squad dominated. Auburn blasted the Huskies 88-66 on Nov. 9. Washington’s not much better than Arizona or most of the other squads this season in the Pac 12.

The Zags should win by 14 to 20.

NCAAB Betting Pick:  Gonzaga

#6 Nevada Wolf Pack at Arizona State Sun Devils

The biggest mover during the offseason to win the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament were the Nevada Wolf Pack. The Wolf Pack dived to single-digit odds after hoops analysts saw how well the team came together.

Although Nevada’s undefeated and 3-0 ATS in their last 3 heading into the week, Coach Bobby Hurley at ASU has a solid group of guys. ASU’s 5-2 ATS and 7-0 in the Pac 12. Led by 6’ 4” Canadian guard Luguentz Dort, Arizona State can hang with Nevada.

Don’t be surprised if ASU provides the Wolf Pack their first loss of the season on Friday.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Arizona State

#9 Kentucky vs Seton Hall

Since the 84-118 season opening loss to Duke, the Kentucky Wildcats have gotten it together, running off 7 straight victories. However, the Wildcats were double-digit favorites in all 7 of the wins. They were -18.5 favorites or higher in 6 of the 7 games. That tells us that Kentucky hasn’t come close to facing a team from a big time conference since the loss to Duke.

Seton Hall is only 4-3 SU this season, though. The Pirates lost by 5 to Louisville in their last. They should battle Kentucky hard enough for a possible win against the spread even though the chances of beating the Wildcats straight up are slim.

NCAAB Betting Pick:  Seton Hall

#8 Michigan State at Florida

The Big Ten looks loaded again with 11 of the 14 teams showing 2 losses or less. The Spartans should handle Florida on Saturday, but the Gators could surprise. Even though Florida sits on a 4-3 record, it’s only a matter of time before coach Mike White gets UF to play the type of defense that they’re famous for.

Florida can upset Michigan State on the moneyline. Take the points for sure if you decide to put this game into any parlays.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Florida

Sunday, Dec. 9

#7 Tennessee vs #1 Gonzaga

The Tennessee Volunteers’ 81-87 loss to Kansas in overtime on Nov. 23 was one of the more impressive performances this season. The Vols play excellent defense while this one takes place on a neutral court.

While the Gonzaga is the best team in the nation, they haven’t yet faced a team that concentrates on the defensive side the way the Volunteers do. Gonzaga faces an uphill battle for the win on Sunday. Backing Tennessee against the spread makes sense.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Tennessee
