NCAAF 2020 Season Week 11 O/U Picks Expert Analysis

Written by on November 10, 2020

With each passing week in college football, we are seeing teams lose their chance of making it into the playoffs this season. Georgia are done after taking their second loss of the season, while Clemson are in real danger after losing to Notre Dame, albeit without star QB Trevor Lawrence in the lineup. There is still a lot of football to be played, though, so I would not expect the top 4 as it looks now to be the same at the end of the season. There are a lot of big games set to go in Week 11, many of which are going to have a definite impact on the National Rankings. Alabama looks to be the only team that is a lock to be in the playoffs right now, but this has been a strange season, so who knows what to expect. For now, let’s stick to Week 11 and our O/U picks so you can go ahead and place your bets against their NCAAF odds.

O/U Picks for Week 11 | 2020 College Football Betting

Miami Hurricanes at Virginia Tech Hokies (OVER 66 ½)

This is a pretty big win total that the bookies have attached onto this game, but it is also one that I think these two teams can combine to surpass. The Hurricanes come into this game with a 6-1 record, which leaves them still in playoff contention, assuming that they can win out. The Clemson loss last weekend helped Miami’s cause, but they are still on the outside looking in with the ACC standings. They have seen 4 of their last 6 games go OVER the point total, and it has been a very similar pattern for the Virginia Tech Hokies. Each of their last 2 games have delivered a combines 70-plus points, while 7 of their last 9 games overall have gone OVER. All of that points to this game going the same way.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Boston College (OVER 48 ½)

Notre Dame are coming off one of their biggest wins in recent history, taking down the Clemson Tigers 47-40 in an absolute thriller of a game. That has them at the top of the ACC with an unbeaten record, but perhaps more importantly, it has them in a playoff spot right now. This weekend, they will hit the road to face the Boston College Eagles, trying to make sure that they do not let down after such a huge win. This is by no means an easy one, as the Eagles gave Clemson all they could handle a couple of weeks ago, coming up just short in that one. The OVER is starting to trend for Notre Dame, with 4 of their last 6 going that route. The Eagles trend towards the under, but I think the point total is low enough for this one to creep OVER.

Texas A&M Aggies at Tennessee Volunteers (OVER 51 ½)

While other teams in the SEC are in the habit of grabbing the majority of the headlines, the Texas A&M Aggies are very quietly putting together a very nice season. They come into this one with a 5-1 record, with their lone defeat of the season coming at the hands of Alabama. They have now won 4 in a row and have crossed the 40-point mark in 3 of those games, which makes that point total look to be very much in reach. The one thing that might upset the apple cart, at least in terms of the O/U, is that the Tennessee offense has been struggling lately. Still, the D has also been giving up points, so the Aggies might do more than enough to take this one OVER.
