NCAAF 2021 Conference Title Betting Odds & Early Predictions

The 2021 NCAA College Football Season kicks off on August 28. One of the more popular bets is to back teams to win their conference titles. Check out Conference Title odds and picks for each Power 5 Conference.

Early College Football Conference Title Odds for the 2021 Season

2021 NCAA College Football Season

  • When: Aug. 28, 2021 – Dec. 11, 2021

ACC Conference Title Odds

The odds on Clemson are ridiculously low. But low odds don’t always lead to an underlay bet. Far and away, the Tigers are the best team in the ACC. More importantly, Clemson mustn’t deal with Notre Dame this season.

Like what the odds imply, North Carolina and Miami are the only other possibilities to win the ACC. Sam Howell Jr. returns to play quarterback for the Tar Heels. D’Eriq King is back at quarterback for Miami.

Of the two, North Carolina looks stronger. Go with Clemson and the Heels.

ACC Top Choice: Clemson

ACC Second Choice: North Carolina

Big Ten Conference Title Odds

Most believe Ohio State dominates like they have in the past few years. But before jumping on the Buckeye bandwagon, let’s not forget how easily Alabama dusted The Ohio State University in last season’s National Championship and that was with Justin Fields playing quarterback.

The Buckeyes are a play against. Michigan and Penn State look decent. Wisconsin looks better. The Badgers should have no trouble winning the always mediocre Big Ten West Division.

The underdog must be Indiana. Michael Penix Jr. returns at quarterback and after last year’s surprise season, the Hoosiers recruited well.

Big Ten Top Choice: Wisconsin

Big Ten Second Choice: Indiana

Big 12 Conference Title Odds

Oklahoma looks close to impossible to beat. Spencer Rattler should be one of the top players vying for the Heisman. The defense will take another massive forward step under Alex Grinch’s leadership. It makes no sense to go against the Sooners.

The second choice must be Iowa State. Both quarterback Brock Purdy and running back Breece Hall are on the short list to win the Heisman. The Cyclones return plenty of talent and experience on defense.

Big 12 Top Choice: Oklahoma

Big 12 Second Choice: Iowa State

Pac-12 Conference Title Odds

In the past few years, the Pac 12 has gotten so bad it feels like they should drop out of the Power 5 Conference category. But this season, USC is good enough to win the National Championship. With Kedon Slovis returning at quarterback, there’s no reason to go against USC.

Is there another team worth backing? Not really. But if you do want to go against the Trojans, consider a team like Stanford. The Cardinal can upset Oregon and Washington and win the Pac-12 North, which would put Stanford in the title game against USC.

Pac 12 Top Choice: USC

Pac 12 Second Choice: Stanford

SEC Conference Title Odds

There are reasons to go against the Crimson Tide winning another SEC Championship. Bryce Young has played great during the spring, but who knows how effective he will be playing for a Bill O’Brien offense when it counts.

This season, the SEC sets up for the Georgia Bulldogs. The conference schedule is ridiculously easy. Make Kirby Smart’s team the top play.

Which team is best to back for the second choice? LSU should be much, much better this season than they were last season. The defense is loaded with juniors and seniors, Kayshon Boutte could be the best wide receiver in college football, and LSU has 3 quarterbacks that would start on almost every other team.

SEC Top Choice: Georgia

SEC Second Choice: LSU
