College Football Week 12 Lines & Betting Games for this Weekend

College Football Week 12 Lines & Betting Games for this Weekend

This past week has been one where you realize that there are some things more important than wins or losses. The Virginia Cavaliers are mourning the loss of three players, all of whom were killed in a senseless shooting. Their game is, as you would expect, cancelled this weekend, and they may now be done for the year. As tragic as all of it is, the show must go on in college football and we have a very busy weekend ahead of us. There are a lot of games to choose from, so we have narrowed it down to 4 that we like, with the focus on ATS and O/U picks as opposed to straight up plays.

Let’s examine a few Week 12 games and provide you with the greatest College Football Betting opportunities for the coming week.

NCAA Football Weekend Games: Betting Opportunities Worth Taking A Shot At

NC State Wolfpack at Louisville Cardinals (-4)

There really isn’t very much for either of these teams to play for, as both have already become bowl eligible, as well as being out of contention for the conference championship game. These types of games can be tricky, as you never really know how motivated players will be at this late stage of the season with nothing at stake. Still, there looks to me to be a clear trend here, as the NC State Wolfpack have struggled on the road, covering just once in their last 7 trips away from home.

Virginia Tech Hokies at Liberty Flames (-9 ½)

This has been an absolute nightmare season for the Virginia Tech Hokies, who now look like a team going through the motions as they wait for the end of the season. They are sitting at 2-8 right now and look to be onto another beating with a trip to face the Liberty Flames, who are sitting at 8-2 ahead of this one. The Flames have not been particularly great against the spread, but they are facing a Hokies team at 2-8 ATS this season. I think the Flames are a good bet to win and cover the spread.

Colorado Buffaloes at Washington Huskies – OVER 62 ½

This is a game that has all the makings of a total blowout, as we all expect the Washington Huskies to lay a beating on Colorado. The Buffaloes are mired in an absolutely awful season, sitting at 1-9 right now and not really doing much to put up a fight. The question here, though, at least in terms of the point total, is just how well the Huskies are going to perform on the offensive side of the football. 5 of the last 6 Saturday home games for the Huskies have gone OVER, so let’s make that pick.

Colorado State Rams at Air Force Falcons – UNDER 44

This is a matchup that has had a habit of delivering high scoring games, but rather than looking at past history, I think it’s more important that we look at what is happening this season. What we see is a Colorado State Rams team that has been unable to get anything going offensively this season. 9 of their 10 games this year have gone UNDER the point total and I think we are potentially looking at more of the same this weekend.
