NCAA Football Week 9 Over/Under Picks for the Best Betting Games

NCAA Football Week 9 Over/Under Picks for the Best Betting Games

The first rankings from the College Football Playoff Committee are almost upon us, so there is very little time left for teams to deliver results that might make the committee choose rankings that are different from what we are seeing now. The current top 4 seem to be set in stone, as they are all unbeaten and all have wins that would fall under the signature label. Still, there are a handful of teams bubbling just below the playoff line that the committee might see as more deserving of a top 4 spot, although that might all change in the next couple of weeks. That brings us to Week 9 and some of the massive games that are on the schedule. Our picks for the week begin with a trio of selections in the point total department. Let’s see if we can pick some winners so you can place your bets against their NCAA Football Odds.

Week 9 O/U Betting Picks and Odds | 2022 NCAA Football Lines

Oklahoma State Cowboys at Kansas State Wildcats – OVER 58

A loss to TCU a couple of weeks back may well have derailed the Oklahoma State Cowboys season, at least in terms of making the playoffs, but they showed some real grit by bouncing back with a huge road win against the Texas Longhorns in Week 8. With those results, the Cowboys are now on a run that has seen each of their last 5 games go OVER the point total. They have also seen 5 of their last 6 games against conference foes go OVER, too. Kansas State has seen 3 of their last 4 overall go OVER, but it’s all the more convincing when these teams go head-to-head, with 11 of the last 15 meetings between these teams going that route.

Kentucky Wildcats at Tennessee Volunteers – OVER 63 ½

This has been some season for the Tennessee Volunteers, who are unbeaten and currently sitting in #3 in the National Rankings. They have one major roadblock lying ahead of them, with a matchup against Georgia on the horizon, but that game won’t mean much of anything if they cannot continue to win, starting with the Kentucky Wildcats heading into town this weekend. Kentucky is 5-2 on the season, and while they are essentially out of the East Division race now, they would still love to play the role of spoiler. Tennessee has an amazing offense and have seen 11 of their last 13 games go OVER the point total, as well as in 6 of their las6 7 versus conference foes.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Florida State Seminoles – UNDER 47 ½

Florida State got out to a fast start this season, winning each of their first 4 games. Things went off the rails after that, though, and they have now lost 3 in a row, albeit a against a trio of ranked teams. Georgia Tech has been up and down since Week 1 and come into this weekend with a 3-4 record. The Yellow Jackets are not a hugely offensive-minded team, which helps explain why they have seen 8 of their last 9 games fall UNDER the point total. It is much the same story with Florida State, who have seen 8 of their last 11 overall go UNDER the point total. 6 of the last 9 meetings between these teams have gone the same way.
