RED vs. W7M

April 15, 2020 at 5:15 PM ET

RED Canids is sitting in second place in the standings at 2-1-0. they played kStars to a 1-1 standstill in the first round in a match that was suspended because of local flooding before getting past Isurus 2-0 in the second round and then dispatching Detona 2-0 in the third round om March 9. 1

W7M Gaming is in first place in the standings with a pristine 3-0-0 record. They took out Bravos 2-0 in their opener before beating Soberano 2-0 in the second round. W7M then took out Alma 2-0 in the third round. 1

W7M is the easy pick in this one, although I suspect that RED will not go down easily. W7M is ranked 49 in the world rankings while Red Canids is a far more modest 137th. Don’t overthink this pairing because W7M is by far, the better team in this affair. 1

Pick: W7M 2-0

Soberano vs. kStars

April 15, 2020 at 7:30 PM ET

Soberano is sitting in sixth place in the standings at 1-0-2. They lost their opener against Detona 2-0 before suffering an identical 2-0 loss to W7M in the second round. Soberano then managed to get past Bravos 2-0 in the third round on March 9 to pick up their first win. 1

Keyd Stars is in fifth place in the standings at a winless 0-3-0. They played RED to a 1-1 standstill before their match was suspended. Keyd then played Bravos to a 1-1 draw in the second round before doing the same against Isurus in the third round. 1

Keyd is ranked 315th in the world CS-GO rankings while Soberano is ranked 469th. Still, I like the lesser ranked team in this affair simply because Keyd has looked utterly awful since the start of CLUTCH season 2. This one looks like it could go down to the wire, but in the end, don’t back the team that has yet to record a victory this season.

Pick: Soberano 2-
