Entropiq vs Team Finest Betting Analysis
- When: Wednesday, May 4th – 19:00 CEST
Entropiq and Team Finest will clash on Wednesday, May 4th, in the first round of Group B in ESL Challenger League S41 Europe. It will mark their first meeting since February 2nd, when Entropiq won 2-0, with 16-14 on Ancient and 16-9 on Dust2, extending their head-to-head record to 3-0.
According to the offered CS:GO betting odds, this match shouldn’t play out much differently. Entroipiq are priced as heavy favorites, and while the last meeting featured one close map (Ancient), we don’t have a reason to disagree with the offered odds.
Entropiq are by no means one of the top CS:GO teams in the world, nor do they come close to the top dogs. But they’re still a very competitive squad and much stronger than Team Finest. That said, Team Finest enter this match in solid form.
They haven’t been too efficient over the last few weeks, but Finest have won three straight games leading into this one – against 777 Esports (16-5), Tricked Esports (2-0), and ECSTATIC (2-0). This is great, as it shows that Finest are at least in solid form; however, we must note that Team Finest haven’t won against a single notable opponent.
Entropiq, on the other side, are 1-4 across their last five outings, which looks significantly worse. However, across those five games, Entropiq had to face HEET, Anonymo, Endpoint, Bad News Eagles, and Astralis, which are – for the most part – much stronger teams than Finest.
Entropiq shouldn’t be losing games like that, and we don’t expect them to. Trust Entropiq to get it done in two maps.
Prediction: Entropiq -1.5 maps
SINNERS Esports vs ECSTATIC Betting Analysis
- When: Wednesday, May 4th – 19:00 CEST
SINNERS Esports and ECSTATIC will meet in the second match of Group B for the first time since December, when SINNERS won 2-0, with 16-12 on Nuke and 16-8 on Vertigo.
It also marked their second consecutive victory against the Danish squad, which SINNERS previously beat in September (2-0), while ECSTATIC were still Lyngby Vikings.
Even though SINNERS won their last meeting with ECSTATIC, we have to remember that the said match happened two months ago. But that hardly changes the fact that SINNERS Esports should be favored to win again.
SINNERS are 2-3 across their last five, with wins against Wisla Krakow and Team Spirit and defeats against Copenhagen Flames, NiP, and Bad News Eagles. So even though their record doesn’t look good on paper, losing against CPH, NiP, and BNE isn’t too concerning, as those are relatively strong squads.
ECSTATIC, on the other side, have managed the exact same 2-3 record, albeit against much weaker opponents. They won against SKADE and Los Reyes but lost against Team Finest, MASONIC, and Asdtralis Talent.
Based on those results, ECSTATIC should be greater underdogs, as they have not shown anything noteworthy of late. SINNERS to win is a safe bet at solid betting odds.
Prediction: SINNERS Esports to win
