The fifth edition of The Match returns the Friday after Thanksgiving featuring Ryder Cup teammate Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau. The two professionals have had some social media beef in the past, but the feud has calmed down since the two were teammates in October at the Ryder Cup.
Koepka and DeChambeau will take on the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas, NV. You can catch all the action beginning at 4 p.m. EST on TNT, TBS, and TruTV. This is the first match since Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson faced off in the first edition to return to a one-on-one format.
The two participants will play only 12 holes of traditional match play with certain holes offering opportunities for the players to earn additional cash to go towards a charity of their choice. Those challenges include closest to the pin and long drive challenges. Let’s take a look at the upcoming 2021 The Match event so you can get all set to make your bets against the PGA Tour Betting Odds.

The Wynn Golf Club sits on the property that used to be the Desert Inn Golf Club that opened its doors in 1952. Casino owner Steve Wynn demolished the course in 2000 and opened the current course in 2005.
There are over 8,000 trees on the property, many over 60 years old and reaching over 70 feet in height. Twelve of the 18 holes have water, fueled by three lakes and streams that meander throughout the property.
The course stretches 6,722 yards and plays as a par-70. There has never been a PGA Tour event held at the property.
History of the Match
Woods and Mickelson battled north of Las Vegas at the exclusive Shadow Creek course in 2018 in the inaugural event. Mickelson took home the $9 million prize after a lengthy playoff between the two Hall of Fame golfers.
The sequel happened a year in a half later when the duo of Woods and Peyton Manning took on Mickelson and Tom Brady at the Medalist in Hobe Sound, FL. Manning and Woods narrowly defeated Mickelson and Brady by one stroke.
The third edition happened later that year, with Mickelson back in action teaming up with Charles Barkley to challenge Steph Curry and Manning at the Stone Canyon Golf Club in Oro Valley, AZ. Mickelson and Barkley downed Curry and Manning, 4 and 3.
In July, the fourth edition took place in Big Sky, Montana, between Mickelson and Brady and new participants Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau. DeChambeau and Rodgers won the match, 3 and 2.
According to mybookie.ag, DeChambeau is the betting favorite at -125. Koepka, who is still trying to round into form after time off earlier this year after knee surgery, can be grabbed at +100. Friday’s matchup is the first for DeChambeau since his appearance in the Ryder Cup.
Koepka participated in four events of the PGA Tour’s wrap-around schedule this fall, missing the cut in a pair of them. The four-time major champion posted his best finish was a T38 at the CJ CUP @ SUMMIT in mid-October in Las Vegas.
