Men’s College Basketball Week 8 Parlay Betting Picks

Another day and another dollar to be made in the world of college basketball. COVID is sweeping through the NCAA ranks and there are many programs canceling games due to positive tests. Due to the positive tests, there were minimal games to select from. Nonetheless, there is still money to be made with the games we have. Let’s jump right into action so you can bet against the College Basketball odds.

NCAA Basketball Parlay Picks for Week 8

Notre Dame at Pittsburgh

Two bottom-feeders in the ACC right now square off for their second conference game of the season. Both teams come in as winners in their last two and they come in with similar records. Currently, in the ACC standings, Pittsburgh is in second to last and one spot ahead sit the Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame comes into this contest with an overall record of 6-5 and 0-1 in conference play. It has been a tough start to the season for Notre Dame, but they have made strides and shown they can play basketball with the best. With losses to Illinois, Indiana, Boston College, and St. Mary’s, it looked like a rough start for the Irish. A big win over Kentucky changed that. Dane Goodwin leads the Fighting Irish with 15.3 points per game.

To start the season for Pittsburgh, they have a lot of bad losses. They have lost to The Citadel, Vanderbilt, UMBC,  and Monmouth. They do have other losses but those are to good teams. The resume win for the Panthers is their win over St. John’s. The Panthers are led by John Hugley with 14.5 points per game.

Notre Dame should come out on top in this game. They are favorites at -3.5, which they should be able to cover.

Fresno State at Boise State

A late-night matchup in the Mountain West Conference between two of the better teams in the conference. Fresno State and Boise State are ready to battle it out on the blue court. Neither team’s schedule brings any glaring wins or losses to the table so far this season.

Fresno State comes in at 10-3 on the season, but they may be overmatched here. They average 66.5 points per game as a team. They shoot 44% from the field so far this season. They do have one good loss to California but no wins that standout.

For Boise State, they come in at 9-4 on the season, with similar stats to Fresno State. They average 69.4 points per game on the season. They too have shot 44% from the field so far this season. Boise State averages three more rebounds per game than Fresno State.

Boise State opens up as four-point favorites. This game may come down to the wire and the advantage may be going to the home team here. This will surely be a good matchup in the Mountain West.

Yale at St. Mary’s

The third and final game in the parlay is another late-night matchup when Yale travels to take on the Gaels of St. Mary’s College. This matchup is one-sided by the look at the lines and odds for this game. St. Mary’s opens up as 12.5 point favorites.

The Gaels started out the season very hot, winning eight of their first nine games. With big wins over Notre Dame, Oregon, and Missouri State, the Gaels find themselves at 11-3. They only average 67.5 points per game, while shooting 46.4% from the field.

Yale has no marquee wins on the season, but they find themselves in a lot of games. They average 72.8 points per game while shooting 41.7% from the field.

This game will be all St. Mary’s and they will cover the 12.5 point spread.
