MLB Picks and Winning Favorites – August 25th

As another week in the baseball draws to a close, the race for playoff spots and MLB picks remains as tight as ever. The pressure is mounting, as time is now quickly running out on the regular season making the MLB betting odds for each match change constantly everyday.Hence, the Boston Red Sox look like a good bet to win the AL East, but the Orioles are going to have a say in stopping that. The Colorado Rockies are also in the WC, and will look to maintain their solid standing when they take a trip to Atlanta to face the Braves.

It will be Jeremy Hellickson (7-7, 5.00 ERA) on the mound for the Orioles.The Red Sox are playing consistent baseball right now, and that has allowed them to maintain a 4.5 game lead atop the division. They are a solid 7-3 in their last 10 games, and have put together a stellar 40-22 record at home this season. The Orioles have proven to be a tough opponent for Boston this season, as they are 6-6 in their previous meetings.
