ONE on Prime Video 1: Moraes Vs Johnson II Betting Analysis & Predictions for Each Fight

It’s a big weekend for fans of ONE, as they have not just one, but two big events set to go on Friday. The first of those will go early on Friday morning, after which we will get a break before event number two gets underway. We have the earlier event covered in a separate piece, and we will now focus on this one, which is home to a pair of title fights. The great news for fight fans is that you can watch all the action of this one on Amazon Prime, the first such event for ONE. We certainly hope that it goes well, as it’s always fun to see MMA in primetime. This event starts at 8 PM EST and has a main card filled with a variety of different fight styles. We are going to focus on the MMA bouts. save for one, which is a Muay Thai title fight. Let’s get into the action and make some predictions so you can place your bets against the ONE Championship Odds.

MMA Betting Picks for ONE on Prime Video 1 Event

Amir Aliakbari Vs Mauro Cerilli

The first MMA fight on the main card is a Heavyweight bout between a pair of fighters who have both been a little up and down of late. Aliakbari has had some real struggles in his recent bouts, losing each of the last 2 to fall to 10-3 overall, so he needs this one. Cerilli is 14-4 overall, and while he is coming off a win, he has split his last 4 fights down the middle. I don’t see this one lasting long and I like Aliakbari for the KO win.

Marcus Buchecha Vs Kirill Grishenko

Not a ton of pro experience to be found in this Heavyweight bout, but it still looks like it will be a good one. Buchecha comes in looking to keep his perfect record, which stands at 3-0 intact. All 3 of those wins came in the opening round. Grishenko is 5-1 overall, but he is coming off a loss in his last fight. That one also came at the hands of an unbeaten fighter. It may take a little longer, but I like Buchecha to win by submission.

Nong-O Gaiyanghadao Vs Liam Harrison

We don’t always cover the Muay Thai bouts in these events, but since this one is for the Bantamweight Championship, we can’t really skip it. Gaiyanghadao comes in as the champion and is on a 6-fight unbeaten run under the ONE banner. Harrison has been a little all over the place in his time as a pro and is very much unpredictable. That alone has me leaning toward the champion retaining his belt.

Adriano Moraes Vs Demetrious Johnson

We close the night out with a fight for the ONE Bantamweight Championship, which also happens to be a rematch. Moraes comes in as the champion and is on a 3-fight win streak, which included a win over Johnson in their previous meeting. That one was over quickly, and Johnson will be looking to make this more of a fight as he looks to improve on his 23-4-1 career mark. I think he might just do it, but he’ll need to go the distance.
