Who is the greatest basketball player of all time? While we aren’t going to get into that discussion right now, that is a question that has been debated many times over many years. While we never get a true answer, as many have their own opinions, it’s always a fun topic to discuss. In today’s game, there are a handful of players that many can consider to be the best player in the league. Let’s rank some of the top players in today’s NBA, and see how our opinions stack up against yours. With that in mind, let’s get down to action so you can continue making your bets against their NBA odds.

NBA Betting – Updated Player Power Rankings

1. LeBron James

Even though he has lost a step, the 37-year old is still playing at an elite level. In 33 minutes per game, he’s averaging 25 points per game, with just under eight assists and eight rebounds. He still looks as good, if not better than he did at age 30, and he’s doing this for a team that has been at or near the top of the Western Conference all season long. Some consider James to be the greatest player of all time, while that can be argued, we can say for a fact that he is more than likely the greatest athlete to ever play the game, as his athletic skill and power are second to none. What James has done this season at his age may never be matched in the game again.

2. Nikola Jokic

The triple-double machine has done some amazing things this season. He’s not the quickest, strongest, or most athletic center in the game, but he is very intelligent, and he knows how to play the game. Jokic is averaging nearly 27 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists per game. He has the Nuggets sitting near the top of the Western Conference, and if he stays healthy, he could end up averaging a triple-double for the season.

3. Kevin Durant

While some players never fully recover from a torn achilles, it doesn’t look like Durant has missed a step. This season, on a team loaded with offense, he’s averaging 30 points, seven rebounds, and five assists per game, while shooting over 40% from beyond the arc. He’s a matchup nightmare, and we’re not even sure if he’s truly back to full strength yet.

4. Giannis Antetokounmpo

The “Greek Freak” still has issues with his perimeter shooting, but other than that, he’s a beast. He is averaging 27 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists per game. His length and athleticism make him very hard to guard. If he ever puts everything together, he’ll be impossible to stop.

5. Kawhi Leonard

Even though he’s missed a few games this season, when Leonard is on the floor, he’s more than likely the best player on the court. Averaging 26 points, five assists, and five rebounds per game, Leonard is a game-changing player. He is one of the top defenders in the league, and is asked nightly to stop the other teams top scorer. Leonard doesn’t make many headlines because he’s very quiet and likes to stay out of the spotlight. He prefers that his game does the talking, and his game speaks well for itself.
