This season, the player rankings list has seen the likes of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, and Joel Embiid at or near the top of the list. With all four of these players out due to injuries, we’ve seen some changes at the top of the rankings. When these players get back, we’re sure that we’ll see some more changes, but in the meantime, let’s take a look at this week’s NBA player rankings list so you can continue making your bets against their NBA odds.
Player Power Rankings Up to Date | NBA Betting
1. James Harden
Since Harden has come to Brooklyn, he has become a different player. He’s not the ball dominant, shot clock killing player that he was for the Rockets. He is now playing a much more rounded game. Harden has been nearly averaging a triple double for the Nets, as he’s averaging 26 points, 8.5 rebounds, and over 11 assists per game. His play has led the Nets charge towards the top of the Eastern Conference standings. Harden has been able to lead the Nets up the standings without Durant, and without Kyrie Irving for a few games. Once Durant returns, look out for the Nets!
2. Nikola Jokic
The Nuggets have been on a surge as of late. They’ve gone 7-3 in their last 10 games, and much of that has been due to the play of Jokic. Jokic is averaging over 26 points, 11 rebounds, and nearly 9 assists per game. He is such a focal point of the Nuggets offense, and can do so many things, that he is very hard to stop. Now that the Nuggets have acquired Aaron Gordon from the Orlando Magic, this will give Jokic even more help on the offensive end of the floor.
3. Giannis Antetokounmpo
The Bucks have won 7 of their last 10, and much of that has been because of the play of the “Greek Freak”. In two of the three losses, Antetokounmpo didn’t play. When the Bucks are running, he’s so hard to stop. Teams struggle to stop him from getting to the rim, and once he’s there, he’s so athletic that he’s hard to stop. He’s averaging over 28 points, 11 boards, and 6 assists per game.
4. Zion Williamson
Zion has come on strong as of late. His power, size, and speed are a deadly combination for the Pelicans’ opponents. Very few players in the league can match up with Williamson, and he is showing how hard he is to guard. Williamson’s numbers have been improving, as he’s now up to 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. If he continues to improve, the sky’s the limit for Williamson.
5. Damian Lillard
Now that the Blazers are healthy, Lillard is playing at an even higher level as teams are unable to key on stopping just him. The return of CJ McCollum has really helped Lillard. He is no longer forcing shots, as teams have to pay attention to McCollum as well. Lillard is averaging 29 points, 4 rebounds, and 8 assists per game. He has led the Blazers to the #6 spot in the Western Conference playoff standings.
