Okay MyBookie NBA basketball betting faithful, with the league set to resume official action on Thursday with Day 1 of its restart campaign – it’s time to take a look at who’s in action in Tuesday’s final slate of NBA preseason action. The big question heading into tonight’s contests is quite simple. How serious will each team take tonight’s matchups with Opening Day just over 48 hours away? Let’s find out right now who needs a confidence-boosting victory and which teams are going to mostly going to conserve their energy for the start of the ‘real’ games so you can plan ahead your bets against their NBA odds.

NBA Betting – Preseason Games of the Day

Memphis at Miami at 2:00 PM ET

Memphis has dropped both of their scrimmage contests in losing to Philadelphia 90-83 on Friday and then falling to Houston 119-104 on Sunday. Miami took out Sacramento 104-98 in their scrimmage opener last Wednesday before falling to Utah 101-99 on Saturday. Now, I’m thinking the young Grizz need this win a whole lot more than Houston which will almost assuredly sit James Harden and Russell Westbrook in this one.

Toronto at Phoenix at 3:00 PM ET

The Raptors took out the Rockets 93-84 on Friday and backed that up with a 110-104 win over Portland on Sunday. Phoenix beat Utah 101-88 in their scrimmage opener on Thursday before falling to Boston 117-103 on Sunday. Even while resting their starters in this one, the more cohesive and more mature Raptors are the pick to get it done as the defending champs seek to make a deep run in the Eastern Conference.

San Antonio at Indiana at 4:00 PM ET

San Antonio got smacked around by Milwaukee 113-92 in their scrimmage opener on Thursday before falling to Brooklyn 124-119 on Saturday. Indiana got past Portland 91-88 in the scrimmage opener on Thursday and backed that win up by beating Dallas 118-111 on Sunday. The Pacers all-star caliber forward Domantas Sabonis, but Victor Oladipo is healthier than he’s been all season and the Spurs just don’t have the same killer mentality they once did during their Big Three heyday.

Oklahoma City at Portland at 6:00 PM ET

Oklahoma City subdued Boston 98-84 in their scrimmage opener on Friday and followed that up with another impressive 102-97 win over Philadelphia on Sunday. Portland dropped their scrimmage opener 91-88 against Indiana on Thursday before falling against Toronto 110-94 on Sunday. While I love the Blazers’ Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, I like the dangerous Thunder even more and believe they could pull off more than one upset this coming restart campaign.

Boston at Houston at 8:00 PM ET

Boston lost their scrimmage opener 98-84 against Oklahoma City on Friday but rebounded to subdue Phoenix 117-103 on Sunday. Houston lost their scrimmage opener 93-84 against Toronto on Friday, but took out Memphis 119-104 on Sunday. While both of these teams will be resting their starters in this meaningless matchup, I like Boston’s deeper reserves to get it done against Houston’s small ball backups in this one.

Dallas at Philadelphia at 8:30 PM ET

Dallas got past the Lakers 108-104 on Thursday before falling to Indiana 118-111 on Sunday. Philadelphia beat Memphis 90-83 in their scrimmage opener on Friday before falling against Oklahoma City 102-97 on Sunday. With Joel Embiid sitting and Ben Simmons likely this one out, I’m going with Dallas to get it done because of their high-scoring ways this season.
