NFL Division Championship Winners Favorite, Smart, and Longshot Picks

AFC Division Winners

The Tennessee Titans have emerged as the biggest chalk on the board to win their division. The Titans head into their NFL Week 10 contest versus the New Orleans Saints with a 3-game lead over the Indianapolis Colts.

Although Tennessee looks like a lock, don’t jump on them just yet. The odds are terrible. Not only that, but Indy could make up the 3-game deficit because Tennessee must work hard to beat the Saints and have a couple of tough road games left on the schedule, at New England and at Pittsburgh.

Kansas City believers will never turn their back on the Chiefs. Because of that, the Los Angeles Chargers, who are currently in a tie with the Raiders atop the AFC West, yes, the Raiders not the Chiefs, offer above even money odds to win the division.

LAC’s run defense remains an issue. But if the Bolts can get better against the rush, they’ll beat the Raiders, Broncos, and Chiefs and win the AFC West. No doubt, the Chargers send the best quarterback in the division, second-year player Justin Herbert, to the field.

It took New England more than a month to put everything together. Once the Patriots did, they became a solid underdog to win the AFC East.

As of Week 9, the Bills have just a 1-game lead over the Pats in the division. Almost as important? Buffalo has lost 2-of-3 heading into Week 10, to the Titans and Jaguars, while the Patriots have won 4-of-5 heading into their Sunday matchup versus Cleveland.

New England is the AFC’s hottest squad after the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Patriots can upset the Bills and win the East.

NFC Division Winners

In NFL Week 9, the Cowboys suffered just their second loss of the season. Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott played a week after sitting out with an injury. Dak was off all day, which explains why Denver beat the Cowboys.

Unless the Boys implode, they should easily win the NFC East. The odds are fair. But it’s difficult to play a team to do anything at -3300. So unless you want to bet on the Cowboys just have some action on America’s Team, consider playing our smart bet or underdog option.

The Cardinals should be -200. At -175, Zona is an overlay to win the NFC West. No team in the division has a defense that can stop Arizona’s offense.

No team in the West sends out an offense that consistently beat AZ’s D. Kyler Murray sat out the Week 9 game on the road agianst San Francisco and Arizona still dominated the 49ers 31-17.

The Saints aren’t helping their cause to win the South by losing to teams like Atlanta and the Giants. But in the NFC, it’s tough to find legitimate division underdogs.

Green Bay is running away with the NFC North. The Cardinals should win the NFC West. No team has more than an infinitesimal shot of catching the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.

The Saints beat the Bucs this season already. Tampa must play the Colts on the road and the Bills at home. Another contest with New Orleans looms.

So if everything breaks for the Saints, they can win the NFC South.
