Tom Brady Breaks Silence Files For Divorce

Buccaneers quarterback and future Hall of Famer Tom Brady revealed on Friday in social media posts that his marriage to Gisele Bundchen has ended after 13 years of marriage, following months of rumors of conflict between the two. Tampa Bay’s performance was certainly impacted by Brady’s personal life, as evidenced by the Bucs’ 27-22 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night, which marked their fifth defeat in the previous six games.

Brady’s season has been anything but ordinary after announcing his retirement before the season and taking a 40-day hiatus before getting back into football. Additionally, in order to handle “personal issues,” as Head Coach Todd Bowles phrased it, Brady was given an 11-day break during training camp, during which he used to spend time with his family.

Regardless, Brady is in his 23rd NFL season and is searching for his eighth Super Bowl Victory. The Buccaneers, who are second in the NFC South with a record of 3-5, have suffered three straight losses.

Key Injuries of Note: Bengal’s Chase, 49ers’ Samuel, Steelers’ T.J. Watt

Jamar Chase

Over the last two weeks, the Bengals offense has begun to gel. They now have the challenge of maintaining the momentum without their best playmaker. According to reports, wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase’s hip injury will keep him out for the next four to six weeks. The good news is that he won’t be placed on injured reserve, which would prevent him from having to miss four games and allow him to return in four weeks.

Deebo Samuel

Deebo Samuel, a wide receiver for the 49ers, won’t play against the Rams in Week Eight. The hamstring injury he sustained during the team’s Week Seven loss to the Chiefs isn’t anticipated to be too bad. The good news is the 49ers have a bye week in Week Nine and Head Coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed he hopes to have him back after that.

T.J. Watt

T.J. Watt, a linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, experienced a setback while recovering from a partially torn pectoral muscle over the past seven weeks. His return date was ultimately delayed past Week Nine bye due to a knee ailment that necessitated a scope.

There are now more specifics about when that knee injury occurred. The Steelers claim that Watt was hurt while working out at a workout last month. Despite being out since Week One, Watt could now potentially miss more time.

Coaches on the Hot Seat and Why | NFL News & Rumors

Matt Lafleur, the Packers’ head coach, has a distinguished coaching background. In each of his first three seasons, he guided the Packers to 13 victories and two visits to the NFC Championship. Of course, in each of those prior campaigns, the Packers were unable to win the Super Bowl. And the start of this season has been incredibly unstable. Given that Aaron Rodgers and LaFleur are not on the same page, the offense under LaFleur has drawn some criticism. However, following four straight defeats, Matt Lafleur’s dismissal rumors have suddenly taken up in Green Bay.
