Last Minute NFL Picks for Week Four

Last Minute NFL Picks for Week Four

Written by on September 28, 2022

We have seen many upsets through the first few weeks of the NFL season, and I am sure we are set to see many more. The division races are tight towards the top, and many teams are looking to make a name for themselves in the first few weeks. Let’s take a look at a few games that you may want to put on your radar and last-minute picks for week four

Latest NFL picks for Week 4 betting

Minnesota Vikings -2.5 vs. New Orleans Saints

Both teams are technically hitting the road this week as the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints are heading to London. This is the first of three games to be played in London this year, with the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers coming next week. The Vikings are looking to win two in a row while the Saints are looking to end their two-game losing streak.

After a great start in week one against the Packers, the Vikings have struggled to find their way offensively. They suffered a week two loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, where the offense struggled, and they came back for a win against the Detroit Lions in week three. Kirk Cousins needs to find Justin Jefferson more for the Vikings to win, and he will face another tough challenge this week against the Saints’ defense.

For the Saints’ offense, it is simple, Jameis Winston needs to be better. Winston currently has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns. Unfortunately, the ground game has been questionable at best, with Alvin Kamara leading the way. If New Orleans can find a competent quarterback, they will be in a great position to contend for a playoff spot in the NFC.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles -6.5

Who would have thought that the 2-1 Jacksonville Jaguars would be taking on the 3-0 Philadelphia Eagles? Not many would have thought that both teams would be in first place in their respective divisions, but here we are. Which team is going to take a big step forward this week and surprise many more fans around the league?

The Jaguars are playing great to start the season, and the offense is playing at a very high level. Jacksonville picked up wins in week two and week three over very good opponents. Doug Peterson has done a great job so far in his first season in Jacksonville, and he needs his offense to stay at this level of play.

The Eagles are being led by Jalen Hurts and wonderful performances by the defense. This season is off to a similar start as we saw in 2017-18 when the Eagles won Super Bowl LII, led by a strong defense and an offense that is hot. There is plenty of time in the season for things to go wrong but Hurts is playing at an MVP level.
