Titans Regular Season Win Total

The Titans have a tough act to follow in terms of the regular season after posting a 12-5 record last year. The bookies have slapped them with a relatively high number, with the Titans win total set at 9 ½, but it also indicates that they believe there might be a bit of a backward step this coming season.

As mentioned earlier, we already broke down the Titans schedule for the season and came away with the belief that they can go OVER that win total. That said, I also think that they will have a hard time matching their record from last season, but if Derrick Henry is able to stay injury free for the entire year, then they might well be able to match or better that 2021 total.

Let’s now jump ahead and look at some other wagers.

Division and Conference Odds

When you look at the AFC South, you really only see 2 teams with a shot at winning that division, as the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars still have a long way to go to become competitive. Despite winning the division last season, the Tennessee Titans find themselves behind the Indianapolis Colts as the favorite to win the South. The Colts are listed at -111, while the Titans are in at +146. I expect this to be a tough battle, with both teams likely to be in the playoffs. The Colts have Matt Ryan in as their QB this season, and while he has a proven track record, you do wonder how quickly he will settle with his new team. I think the odds available for the Titans now are a bit of a steal, as I like them to win this battle.

In terms of winning the conference, the Titans have a much steeper hill to climb. The Buffalo Bills very much look like the team to beat in the AFC, with the Kansas City Chiefs and LA Chargers also considered to be among the favorites. The Titans are currently in at +1550 to win the AFC, which seems more than fair to me. I do see them getting into the playoffs, but with back-to-back falls at the first hurdle, there is reason to be skeptical that the Titans can win the conference and make it all the way to the Super Bowl.
