Jacksonville vs Indianapolis | Week 2 – Sunday, Sep. 18

The Jags host the rival Colts in a game that could go a long way in determining what kind of season the Jaguars have. The Colts are a lukewarm Super Bowl choice. Most expect the Jaguars to fold in this. They won’t. Jags ATS is the play. 

Jacksonville at Philadelphia | Week 4 – Sunday, Oct. 2

On paper, the Philadelphia Eagles appear to have more talent. But Jacksonville’s defense will start two linebacking college stars, Devin Lloyd and Tavon Walker. Those two rookies will play alongside the terrific Josh Allen. Jacksonville’s defense can shut down Jalen Hurts and Philly’s offense. Also, Jags’ coach Doug Pederson returns to Philly. He’ll want this one.   

Jacksonville at Kansas City | Week 10 – Sunday, Nov. 13

If Jacksonville has a successful season up to NFL Week 10, a date with the Chiefs in Kansas City will tell us how far this Jaguar’s team can go. Don’t expect Jacksonville to pass with flying colors. By week 10, Patrick Mahomes will be on the same page as his offensive line and receivers. KC wins and covers. 

Jacksonville vs Baltimore | Week 12 – Sunday, Nov. 27

Trevor Lawrence versus Lamar Jackson should make for great football. The Jaguars boast a decent offensive line. So if Travis Etienne can get going this season, and if he’s still going, in week 10, the Jaguars could win and cover versus John Harbaugh’s squad.  

Jacksonville at Detroit | Week 13 – Sunday, Dec. 4 

Like Jacksonville, Detroit will be a much better team this season than last. But on paper, the Jaguars have better players. The Lions will put up a fight. Jacksonville wins and covers. 

Jacksonville at New York Jets | Week 16 – Thursday, Dec. 22

Jets versus Jaguars should be a terrific game. The Jets’ schedule is more difficult than Jacksonville’s. So by NFL Week 16, the Jets could be out of playoff contention. If that’s the case, Jacksonville wins. 

Jacksonville at Houston | Week 17 – Sunday, Jan. 1

NFL Week 17 won’t be a key game for the Houston Texans. Houston doesn’t have much chance of making it to the playoffs. Jacksonville is good enough to score a playoff bid. So this game should mean something to the Jaguars. Expect a huge Jacksonville win and cover.  

Jacksonville vs Tennessee | Week 18 – Sunday, Jan. 8

If the Jaguars are in playoff contention, coach Doug Pederson will ensure his team is ready to beat the Tennessee Titans and either win the AFC South or grab a wildcard bid. Another Jaguars cover is probable.
