NFL Week 9 Lines, Picks & Trends: This Week’s TNF, SNF, MNF Games

The league’s lone undefeated team, the Philadelphia Eagles, will head to Houston to take on the Texans. Philadelphia has been dynamic on both sides of the ball.

The offense is led by Jalen Hurts, who has improved tremendously from last season. AJ Brown and Devonta Smith are one of the best receiving duos in the league. The Eagles’ defense is also one of the finest in the NFL, and they just acquired pass rushing specialist Robert Quinn from the Bears.

As for the Texans, at 1-5-1, they’re already starting to play for a top draft pick. The offense is void of weapons, and the defense is one of the worst in the league. We’ll see if Lovie Smith’s crew can give the Eagles a game or if Philly runs right through them. Let’s take a look at the Thursday, Sunday, and Monday night games, along with the top 1:00 PM games on the weekend so you can get ready to bet against their NFL Odds.

A Look at the NFL Schedule for the Upcoming Week

A Battle of Contrasting Styles

On Sunday night, we’ll see different styles of offenses as the Tennessee Titans, and their powerful running game will travel to Kansas City to take on Patrick Mahomes and their high-scoring aerial attack.

The Chiefs will see a heavy dose of Derrick Henry on Sunday. With Ryan Tannehill possibly being out again this week, we’ll see a ton of Henry.

The Chiefs have one of the top offenses in the NFL. They’ll challenge a Tennessee defense that always seems to play well, even when outmanned.

We’ll see if the Chiefs’ defense can slow Henry down or if he’ll put up huge stats, much like he did in last weekend’s win over Houston.

A Battle in the Big Easy

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens will head to New Orleans to take on the Saints on Monday night. The Ravens will be coming off a Thursday night win over Tampa Bay.

Jackson hasn’t been putting up huge stats, but he’s been finding ways to win games. We’ll see if Mark Andrews will be available for the Ravens.

Andy Dalton has done a nice job of leading the Saints in the absence of Jameis Winston. Winston is nearing a comeback, so we’ll see who is under center for the Saints on Monday.

The New Orleans defense has been one of the worst in the NFL this season. Their secondary has given up a ton of passing yards this season.

Top 1:00 Game

It’s hard to believe, but the New York Jets are going to be playing in a huge divisional game on Sunday. They’ll be hosting the Buffalo Bills with a chance to gain ground on the division’s top team. Zach Wilson has been terrible for the Jets, but their strong defense has been making up for the offense’s downfall.

Buffalo looks like the best team in the league. We’ll see how he handles the strong Jets defense.

The Jets have a very good secondary, and if Allen makes bad decisions as he did on Sunday night against the Packers, the Bills could be in trouble.

NFC West Battle

Prior to the season, if you had told us that the Seattle Seahawks would be in first place in the NFC West and the Arizona Cardinals would be in last place in the same division, we would’ve called you crazy. Well, that’s the case right now, and the Cardinals will be hosting the Seahawks on Sunday.

Now that De’Andre Hopkins has returned for the Cardinals, they’re playing better. Seattle beat the New York Giants on Sunday, further solidifying their status as the top team in the NFC West. We’ll see if Arizona can finally get things going or if Seattle continues to lead the division.
