Top EPL Games to Must Bet and Watch this Weekend (August 5th – 7th)

Arsenal FC -125 vs Crystal Palace +340

  • When: Friday, August 5 at 1:00 pm ET

After falling to United in a club friendly on July 19, home squad Crystal Palace picked it up, winning 4 straight matches, including beating Montpellier 4-2 in a friendly in their last.

Arsenal has won 5 straight, 4 club friendlies, and a dominate 6-0 beating of Sevilla in the Emirates Cup on July 30. New striker Gabriel Jesus had 3 goals in that match. Give the Gunners the nod.

Soccer Pick: Arsenal

Liverpool FC -1.5 -131 vs Fulham +1.5 +103

  • When: Saturday, August 6 at 5:30 am ET

Fulham is playing as if they might challenge teams like Crystal Palace and Leeds for a middle of the pack EPL finish. The home team dog in this should have no shot versus a fired up Liverpool squad.

Pool was close to completing the three-sweep, but a Carabao Cup win is the only the Reds secured last season. Liverpool must find a way to replace Sadio Mane who bolted to Bayern. The 3-1 victory over Man City in the English FA Community Shield is a sign they may already have.

Darwin Nunez looks every bit the young, budding superstar Pool envisions him as being. The Reds cover the handicap.

Soccer Pick: Liverpool -1.5

Southampton FC +1.5 -121 vs Tottenham Hotspur -1.5 -104

  • When: Saturday, August 6 at 8:00 am ET

The Hotspur ended the 2021 Premier League season on a high-note, beating Arsenal for fourth-place and a spot in this season’s Champions League. Tottenham has played well in their club friendlies, beating the Rangers, drawing with Sevilla, and falling to AS Roma by a single goal.

Southampton has lost 4-of-5. The road team in this beat AS Monaco 3-1 in a club friendly on July 27. Southampton appears set for a mediocre season. Tottenham believes they can hang with City and Pool. The Hotspur win this by at least 2 goals.

Soccer Pick: Tottenham Hotspur -1.5

Chelsea FC -153 vs Everton FC +420

  • When: Saturday, August 6 at 10:30 am ET

Both the Blues and home team Everton won their last couple of club friendly contests. Everton beat Blackpool and Dynamo Kiev.

Chelsea bested Serie A squad Udinese twice. Raheem Sterling now plays for Chelsea. His impact could be huge because it allows the Blues to keep Christian Pulisic at a midfield position. Chelsea is the play.

Soccer Pick: Chelsea

Brighton & Hove Albion +480 vs Manchester United -166

  • When: Saturday, August 6 at 10:30 am ET

The Red Devils start their quest for an EPL title at home. On paper, United looks like a decent squad, but what does ten Hag do with Ronaldo?

The great striker left the pitch early in the final club friendly. He doesn’t want to be at Old Trafford. It’s obvious. Man U should win this. The best play, though, especially with some questions surrounding the Red Devils, is on the draw.

Soccer Pick: Draw

Manchester City -1.5 -104 vs West Ham United +1.5 -121

  • When: Sunday, August 7 at 9:30 am ET

The Erling Haaland era begins in earnest for Man City when the young Norwegian steps onto the pitch for the Sky Blues in his first league match.

Based on the 3-1 loss to Liverpool in the Community Shield, Pep’s issues go far beyond if Haaland can transfer his Dortmund form to City. The defense was terrible. West Ham won’t win, but they’re a great play at +1.5

Soccer Pick: West Ham United +1.5
