Also known as the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships, the Libema Open is an ATP/WTA 250 event that has been held annually in the Netherlands for more than three decades. Because of pandemic-related cancellations, the last edition of the tournament was in 2019.
The Libema Open, held simultaneously with the BOSS Open in Stuttgart, Germany, is the first grass tournament of the season and gives players a chance to prepare for Wimbledon. Let’s have a look at both WTA and ATP contestants so you can get ready to bet against their Tennis Odds.

Odds to Win 2022 Libema Open (Men)
- Daniil Medvedev +200
- Felix Auger-Aliassime +450
- Karen Khachanov +750
- Taylor Fritz +900
- Jenson Brooksby +1000
- Alex De Minaur +1200
- Boltic Van De Zandschulp +1400
- Brandon Nakashima +2000
The Favorites – Medvedev (+200), Auger-Aliassime (+450), and Khachanov (+750)
The world No. 2 Daniil Medvedev is the heavy favorite entering the tournament and is in search of his first tournament victory of the season and 14th of his career. He lost to Cilic in the Round of 16 at Roland Garros but is hoping a return to grass can propel him to victory. Medvedev was 7-2 on grass last season and won the title in Mallorca.
Auger-Aliassime won his first career title this season and was only the third player to take Rafael Nadal five sets at the French Open, reaching the Round of 16 before losing to the King of Clay in an epic match that lasted nearly five hours. Khachanov is 18-14 this season and coming off a Round of 16 loss to Carlos Alcaraz at Roland Garros.
Underdog Picks – Nakashima (+2000), Tommy Paul (+2800), and Hugo Gaston (+2400)
Ranked No. 64 in the world, Brandon Nakashima recently moved up 11 spots. He made Alex Zverev work hard for a three-set Round of 32 victory at Roland Garros and is coming off a quarter-final loss to Andy Murray at Surbiton on the ATP Challenger Tour.
American Tommy Paul is Nakashima’s first-round opponent and whoever advances has some potential to make some noise later in the tournament. Gaston, paired against Sonwoo Kwon in the opening round, reached the Round of 32 at Roland Garros and is seeking redemption against his first-round opponent after an early-season loss at Rotterdam.
Odds to Win 2022 Libema Open (Women)
- Aryna Sabalenka +400
- Belinda Bencic +450
- Liudmila Samsonova +450
- Elena Rybakina +750
- Ekaterina Alexandrova +800
- Veronika Kudermetova +1200
- Alison Va Uytvanck +1200
- Tamara Zidansek +1200
The Favorites – Sabalenka (+400), Bencic (+450), Samsonova (+450)
The draw is a little more competitive on the women’s side. Either one of Sabalenka, Bencic, or Samsonova could win the tournament, and it’d be strange not to see at least one in the final. Sabalenka, 15-12 this season, has a 23-14 career record on the grass and is the slight betting favorite.
Underdog Picks – Alexandrova (+800), Daria Saville (+2800), Shelby Rogers (+4000)
It’s hard to find good value in a field so tight, but Ekaterina Alexandrova is a decent bet outside of the top players. The 27-year-old Russian has a winning record on grass in each of her last two seasons and is chasing her second career title.
Daria Saville reached the third round of the French Open and is hoping to carry that momentum to the grass season, while Shelby Rogers achieved a career-best No. 36 ranking earlier this season and is in search of his first title.
