NBA Week 4 Rundown: Top Betting Matchups and Picks for the Week

2022 NBA Week 4

  • When: Monday, Nov. 7 – Sunday, Nov. 13

Los Angeles Lakers at Los Angeles Clippers | Wednesday, Nov. 9

By no means are the Clippers tearing it up. LAC has gone 5-5 this season, which is to be expected because, again, Kawhi Leonard is out indefinitely due to a bum knee.

With Kawhi once again collecting paychecks on the bench, the Clippers have struggled against good shooting teams. Luckily for them, the 2-7 Lakers are one of the worst shooting teams in NBA history.

NBA Week 4 Pick: Los Angeles Clippers

Philadelphia 76ers at Atlanta Hawks | Thursday, Nov. 10

Because they’ve got a 4-6 record, the Sixers project as slight dogs heading into this game. Atlanta is 6-3 heading into the week, which puts the Hawks 3 games behind 9-0 Milwaukee.

ATL center Clint Capela is one of the few who can play excellent defense on Joel Embiid. So although Trae Young is listed as day-to-day, the Hawks are worth a look.

NBA Week 4 Pick: Atlanta Hawks

Denver Nuggets at Boston Celtics | Friday, Nov. 11

The Nuggets are one-hundred percent healthy, which is the reason Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, Jamal Murray and the rest sport a fantastic 6-3 record heading into the week.

Boston is also 6-3. The Celtics can hang with Denver. But the Nuggets’ athleticism could lead to the road upset victory.

NBA Week 4 Pick: Denver Nuggets

Minnesota Timberwolves at Memphis Grizzlies | Friday, Nov. 11

Two of he top up and coming teams in the Association throw down when the Grizzlies host the T’Wolves. Minnesota has yet to gel. How else to explain a team with a frontcourt that includes Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards playing .500 ball?

Minnesota lists center Rudy Gobert as out. Gobert is out for Monday’s game due to the NBA’s covid protocols.

Memphis is 7-3 and one-hundred percent healthy. No doubt, Ja Morant and his mates win and cover.

NBA Week 4 Pick: Memphis Grizzlies

Portland Trail Blazers at Dallas Mavericks | Saturday, Nov. 12

If the season started today, both these squads would be in the playoffs. Portland has one more win than Dallas at 6-3.

The Mavericks are 5-3. Portland’s success this season is due to not only Damian Lillard but also center Jusuf Nurkic, who averages over 14 points and over 11 boards per.

Dallas is a tough matchup because Luka Doncic is playing point guard. The Blazers struggled against Chris Paul and Devin Booker in a recent loss to the Suns. Doncic and backcourt mate Spencer Dinwiddie could cause Portland issues.

NBA Week 4 Pick: Dallas Mavericks

Golden State Warriors at Sacramento Kings | Sunday, Nov. 13

Heading into the week, the Kings have a better record than the Warriors by a game. Neither team is playing great hoops.

But Sacramento is one-hundred percent healthy. Both Andrew Wiggins and Steph Curry are listed as day-to-day. If neither or even one of those star players sits on the bench, De’Aron Fox will have a field day driving into the lane and then dishing for a midrange jump shot or three-point shot. Kings win and cover.

NBA Week 4 Pick: Sacramento Kings
