The world’s fifth ranked golfer has yet to score a victory this season. But there are few players, Scheffler is the only one, that are playing as well as Xander Schauffele.

The +1800 choice has scored six finishes of tenth or better in eight tournaments played. Top finishes include a third at The American Express, a fourth at the Genesis Invitational, a second at The Players, and a fifth at the Valspar.

The odds on Schauffele have dived to +1300 after Xander opened at +1800. The odds drop is sign that big money is landing on Xander to score his first major title.

The defending champion has dropped a single tick since opening at +1200. The odds on Rahm make him more than playable, but he remains cold on the board.
