The Pirates are on a 4-game losing skid heading into their Tuesday tilt with the Cleveland Guardians, but there is a bit of a silver lining here, albeit a minor one. They will have Mitch Keller on the mound on Tuesday night, which means that their chances of breaking out of their current slump seem pretty decent. Keller comes into this one with a 9-4 record and a 3.31 ERA. The Pirates lost the last 2 starts heading into the break, but I think he returns refreshed and ready to get back to winning ways.

We don’t often have a pitcher with a losing record on these weekly lists, but I think Castillo looks like a good bet on Wednesday night. Castillo had won 3 straight games heading into his last start, where he was hit hard by the Detroit Tigers in a 7-6 loss, where Castillo was responsible for just 3 of those earned runs. Despite being 6-7 on the season, Castillo still has a rather respectable ERA of 2.96, and I think he gets back to winning ways in his start against the Twins on Wednesday night.
