Updated NBA 2020-21 Divisional Championship Odds

Written by on April 12, 2021

Now that the NBA trade deadline is over, the buyout market has dried up, and team rosters are pretty much solidified, barring an injury, the teams are set for their playoff runs. With teams being pretty much set, new sets of divisional odds have been released. Let’s take a look at the latest NBA Divisional Championship odds.

NBA Betting – Divisional Championship Odds Up to Date

NBA Pacific

  • Los Angeles Clippers: -115

After trading Lou Williams for Rajon Rondo, the Clippers made moves to make a playoff run. With the Lakers being marred by injuries, this division looks like a two-horse race.

  • Phoenix Suns: -105

Right now, the Suns are ahead of the Clippers in the standings. Chris Paul has made the Suns a contender in the West. The oddsmakers aren’t quite sold on the Suns just yet, as they still have the Clippers winning the division.

NBA Southwest

  • Dallas Mavericks: -1000

Dallas has the best odds to win the Southwest, but that’s not saying much. Dallas is currently sitting in the seventh spot in the Western Conference playoff standings. Until the Mavericks learn how to defend, they aren’t going very far.

NBA Northwest

  • Utah Jazz: -5000

The oddsmakers don’t seem to think that anyone can catch the Jazz. They have the best record in the NBA, and they currently hold a six game lead over the second place Denver Nuggets.

  • Denver Nuggets: +1800

Don’t look now, but the Nuggets have been climbing up the standings. With the acquisition of Aaron Gordon at the trade deadline, the Nuggets made themselves even more dangerous. They have a very good defensive team, and adding Gordon to the fray makes them even better offensively as well.

NBA Southeast

  • Miami Heat: -165

The oddsmakers can’t forget that the Heat made it to the NBA Finals last season. When Jimmy Butler has been healthy, the Heat have played good basketball. They’ve struggled at times to score, but they’re still very strong defensively. This team is built for the playoffs, but they need to step it up if they’re going to make a run.

  • Atlanta Hawks: +180

After Atlanta fired Lloyd Pierce, they became a new team. Since Nate McMillan took over the team, the Hawks have been playing great basketball. They’re currently a game above the Heat in the standings. If they continue to play well, they could run away from Miami and win the Southeast.

NBA Atlantic

  • Brooklyn Nets: -145

Even though they can’t seem to defend, the oddsmakers are sensing that the Nets have the firepower to outscore everyone. With James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving on the floor, it’s very likely that the Nets can outscore everyone.

  • Philadelphia 76ers: +115

When Joel Embiid is healthy, he’s the toughest big man in the game to stop. He can shoot it from the perimeter, and his combination of strength and speed is nearly impossible to stop in the post. If Philadelphia can find a way to make teams guard Ben Simmons on the perimeter, they could slip past Brooklyn.

NBA Central

  • Milwaukee Bucks: -10000

There is no team in the division within 7.5 games of the Bucks at this time. Unless Giannis Antetokounmpo misses significant time, this is the Bucks division.
