One of the most popular Super Bowl prop bets every year is on the player to win MVP. This Sunday’s Super Bowl points to Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes and San Francisco’s Brock Purdy as the two favorites.
Christian McCaffrey is the solid third choice. However, there are more players than Purday, McCaffrey, and Mahomes who can lift the most valuable player trophy.
Check out Super Bowl 58 MVP odds and a deep analysis for you to look at when choosing who you want to bet on to win the MVP award. Let’s take a look at the Super Bowl MVP Odds.

Analysis: Mahomes is a threat to win Super Bowl MVP because he’s already one of the greatest the quarterbacks to ever step onto a football field. The two-time Super bowl winning QB is Tom Brady-like in his ability to lead his team to victory.
Football fans understand that Magic Mahomes doesn’t always post the stats, but always comes through. What that means is that Patrick will get it done in crunch time.
However, this Super Bowl could be different. Brock Purdy took the next step in the second half against the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship. By next step, Purdy rallied the 49ers to a win. The defense was playing atrocious football. So it was up to Purdy and the Niners to get it done.
As of right now, Brock is the better play over Patrick. Purdy offers excellent odds to beat a Steve Spagnuolo defense that should struggle against Brock’s rushing ability as well as his sense of where to place footballs so his guys can make the catch and run for extra yards.
As far as Christian McCaffrey is concerned, although the best running back in the NFL has a chance at the MVP, his odds are too low to consider a bet. The game should come down to the quarterbacks striving to get their team over the finish line. In that sense, Brock Purdy is an overlay at +225 while McCaffrey is an underlay at +475. Mahomes offers fair odds. So if you like KC, back Patrick.

Analysis: If one of he quarterbacks don’t win, and McCaffrey doesn’t score the MVP doesn’t, Deebo, Kelce, and Pacheco offer varying odds, but have similar chances.
Steve Wilks laid into the Niners D after the horrible performance against the Lions. San Francisco should step it up on defense. Doing so means handling Kelce. So at 12-to-1 odds, Travis is the worst pick among the next three choices.
The best pick among the next 3 is Samuel. Pacheco could have a massive game, but the likelihood of that isn’t great considering Andy Reid will try to spread the ball around and Pacheco doesn’t get the play calls the way Deebo does.
Samuel could be let loose if Spags decides to concentrate on stopping McCaffrey. It’s difficult to strategize around stopping both. So if Kyle Shanahan sees Spags bottling up Christian, he’ll switch gears and get Deebo involved. A 3 TD and over 150 receiving performance is a real possibility.

Analysis: Among George Kittle, Brandon Ayuik, and Rashee Rice, the best pick if you like the Niners is Ayuik. If you’re going for the Chiefs, Rice could have a decent game.
Rice has become Patrick Mahomes’ top option after Kelce. So for sure, Rice could have a big game. This is especially true if Wilks decides to not let Kelce beat SF’s defense.
On the other side, Ayuik should see plenty of one on one coverage. Ayuik is good enough to beat a banged up L’Jarius Snead or any other corner Spags decides to assign SF’s WR2. So give Ayuik a shot if you like the Niners to win the game.

The Case to Back Nick Bosa at +7500 to Win Super Bowl 58 MVP
While a Denver Broncos player, Von Miller dominated the Carolina Panthers in the 2016 Super Bowl. Miller was so effective he won Super Bowl MVP.
If the defenses step up on both sides of the ball, a defender like Nick Bosa could win MVP. Defenders winning MVP doesn’t often happen, but in this game it could because Bosa is one of the few defenders who can run down Mahomes.
If you want to take a massive shot, consider backing Bosa at the excellent MVP odds.
