Bolivia +1 ½ (+117) vs Chile -1 ½ (-153)

Bolivia’s recent form gives them a slight chance to upset Chile on Friday. The Bolivians beat Venezuela 3-1 in a FIFA World Cup Qualifying match on June third. Then on June 8 in a FIFA WC contest, the underdog in this drew 1-1 with this same Chilean squad. Since the match meant something, it was a World Cup qualifier, we must assume Chile played hard.

Then again, on June 14, Paraguay dusted Bolivia 3-1 in the Bolivian’s first Copa America match. But that doesn’t mean Chile covers the handicap.

On March 26, in an international friendly, Chile beat Bolivia 2-1. The draw happened on June 8. Also, Chile drew with Argentina in their last. The Chileans don’t play an overlay aggressive style, which means Bolivia should keep this to within a goal.

The Bolivians are worth backing on the handicap.

Soccer Pick: Bolivia

Uruguay (+240) vs Argentina (+102)

In Argentina’s first Copa America match, Messi scored one of the most electrifying free kick goals soccer fans are ever likely to see. However, even though Messi got the goal in the first half, Chile’s Eduardo Vargas kicked in the equalizer at the fifty-seventh minute. The 1-1 draw was Argentina’s fourth in their last 5 matches.

Uruguay drawn in two straight. The team led by Luis Suarez played great defense but couldn’t break down Venezuela’s defense in a World Cup qualifying match on June 13.

But although Uruguay didn’t look great drawing with Venezuela in their last, the Uruguayans are worth backing to upset Messi and Argentina on Friday.

This will be Uruguay’s first Copa America match. Uruguayan manager and coach Oscar Tabarez has the advantage of having seen Argentina against Chile.

Argentina’s backers aren’t great and Aston Villa goalie Martinez, although decent, won’t stand a chance on-on-one against Luis Suarez.

Argentina plays aggressive. Tabarez knows this, which is why he’ll lull Argentina forward and then release Suarez on a breakaway for at least one easy goal.

Soccer Pick: Uruguay
