The good news if you’re looking to back the Americans is that they took 18 shots to the Netherland’s 5. Also, the United States took 4 shots on goal to the Dutch’s single shot on goal.

Portugal fell to the Netherlands 1-0 in their first Women’s World Cup match. The Portuguese bounced back with a 2-0 win over Vietnam. Portugal isn’t a great team, but the U.S. isn’t as dominant as it has been in the past couple of cycles. Taking the +1.5 goals makes sense.

The Netherlands, for sure, should win this matchup. The Orange, though, are a patient squad. The Netherlands won’t push the attack to score multiple goals. Not only that, but Vietnam plays good enough defense to prevent the 4-goal loss.

The hook should be ultra-meaningful in this. The Vietnamese fall, but they fall by no more than 3 goals.
