The English should have an easy path to the semifinals. Once at the semis, England projects to face rival Germany. The Germans have tasted defeat at the hands of England already in an international competition.

Earlier this soccer season, Germany fell to England at the UEFA Women’s European Championship. Also during that tournament, England beat up one of the World Cup’s best underdogs, Sweden, 4-0.

Spain lost to England 2-1. Then in the CONMENBOL-UEFA Women’s Cup of Champions, the English bested Brazil via penalty kicks after a 1-1 game.

For sure, the United States will be tough to beat. But the +120 makes England the better play to lift the World Cup trophy.
