Lukaku says he’s not headed to Chelsea, but 100 million lira is a lot

Both Manchester City and Chelsea are angling for Romelu Lukaku’s services. But the star player ruled out any summer move.

Per Lukaku, “Yes, I am staying. I’ve already had contact with the man who will become our new manager. Maybe I shouldn’t say that yet. It was a very positive conversation. I feel good at Inter.”

Inter won a title with Romelu leading the striking charge this season and Lukaku doesn’t want to play anywhere else. However, even though Lukaku wants to stay, there’s no guarantee he will.

Rumor has it, the Blues are willing to offer 100 million lira for Lukaku’s services. Inter Milano isn’t in a position to pass up cash. The team suffered greatly during the pandemic. The organization had to part with Serie A winning manager Antoine Conti due to their financial situation.

Lukaku may not want to go anywhere. Inter may tell him he has no choice.

Pogba and Pjanic may return to Juventus

Man United player Paul Pogba is supposedly eager to return to Juventus. Pogba had great success playing for Juventus manager Massimillo Allegri. Juvy hired Allegri last week.

Another former Juventus player, Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic, may also want to return. Both would help Juventus big time.

Juventus required an impossibility to happen on the final Serie A match day to qualify for the Champions League. Napoli had to draw or lose at home versus Hellas Verona and Juventus had to score a road win against Bologna.

Those two things happened. Juvy isn’t messing around. They replaced Pirlo with Allegri and have put things in place to go right back to the top of Serie A next season.

Mbappe to Real could open the door for a Ronaldo exit from Juventus

Real player Sergio Ramos may be trying to sabotage Mbappe’s move to Madrid, but if the Paris Saint-Germain striker does end playing for RM, Juventus could accept a transfer fee from PSG.

Rumor has it, Juvy would then sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi to replace Ronaldo. It’s speculation, of course, but Ronaldo no longer in a Juventus uniform next season is a possibility.

Massimillo Allegri is back as Juvy manager. Allegri’s most successful Juventus squads depended on amazing defense. Ronaldo is a prolific striker but has never had to play defense.

Allegri won’t change his style to fit Ronaldo. So we could see the great Portuguese player move to a different league and play for a team like PSG that will better compliment his skills.
