NCAA Football ATS Betting Picks for the Best Week 7 Games of 2022

NCAA Football ATS Betting Picks for the Best Week 7 Games of 2022

Another week in college football and another change in the top 4 in the National Rankings. Georgia is back on top after blowing out Auburn. That move dropped Alabama down to #2 after they held on against Texas A&M. Ohio State stays in the #3 spot, while Clemson moved into #4 ahead of Michigan. Given how things have gone this season, I think it’s fair to suggest that this will not be the last time we see changes at the top of the standings. For now, though, we are going to turn our attention to Week 7 as we look to make some winning picks. We had a bit of a rough go of it in Week 6 and are now 36-23 on the season with our individual selections. Let’s get Week 7 rolling with our ATS picks so you can get all set to place your bets against the NCAA Football Odds.

Week 7 Against the Spread Picks and Odds | 2022 College Football Betting Analysis

Washington State Cougars at Oregon State Beavers (-3)

Sometimes, it is difficult to choose between trends that are convincing and could potentially lead you in different directions. This game is a perfect example of that. Oregon State has not been a particularly good bet when going against Washington State, covering just once in their last 6 meetings. On the flipside, they are now on a run that has seen them cover the spread in 8 straight games played on home field. I believe that the home record is more indicative of where this team is at right now, which is why I am leaning toward the Beavers to get the job done and cover the spread on Saturday night.

Arkansas Razorbacks (+3) at BYU Cougars

It has been a strange sort of season for the Arkansas Razorbacks through the opening 6 weeks. They came charging out of the gate, racking up 3 straight wins before losing 3 in a row once their schedule started to drift into more difficult territory. They have another tough one ahead of them this weekend, as they hit the road to face BYU, who are currently sitting at 4-2 on the season. It would be easy to write off the Razorbacks in the midst of their current slump, but I think they can keep this one close and cover the spread. One reason for this is that they are 10-0 SU in their last 10 versus an Independent. You also have to consider that BYU has covered just once in their last 9 meetings with a team from the SEC.

Mississippi State Bulldogs at Kentucky Wildcats (+7)

This is one of the better games on the schedule this weekend, with a pair of ranked teams from the SEC set to go head-to-head. The Mississippi State Bulldogs are sitting at 5-1 right now, with their lone loss of the season coming in conference play versus LSU. The Wildcats got out to a 4-0 start, but they have seen the wheels come off after suffering back-to-back losses. While Kentucky may be on a bit of a skid, there is a lot to like about them when betting against the spread, starting with the fact that they are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games. They have also covered in 4 of their last 5 games versus the Bulldogs on home field, and while they may still lose this one, I think they do enough to cover.
