Week 2 SU Parlay – UTSA, Iowa State, Houston

With both UTSA and Army losing in Week 1, both teams are going to be desperate to get the win here. The Roadrunners are slight favorites and for good reason as they have won 6 of their last 7 road games.

We have a big rivalry game set for Week 2, with Iowa State hitting the road to face the Iowa Hawkeyes, who won but seriously underwhelmed in their opener. It would be easy to favor Iowa at home, but I am taking the Cyclones here.

Houston head into their game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders as a bit of an underdog, but I think there is some real value to be found here when you consider that the Cougars have now won 12 of their last 13 games.

Week 2 ATS Parlay – Arkansas (-8), UNC (-8), Toledo (-28 ½)

South Carolina comes into this weekend against the Arkansas Razorbacks as an underdog after going just 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games versus SEC opposition. That does not bode well against an Arkansas team that is 4-0-1 ATS in its last 5.

The Tar Heels survived an epic game in Week 1, outlasting Appalachian State in a 63-61 thriller. They proved that they can put points up on the board in a big way, and I think we can expect more of the same against Georgia State.

The Toledo Rockets opened their season with a home win and will be back in their own building this weekend versus UMASS, who look to be a bit of a mess. It’s a bit spread, but I think it’s one that the Rockets cover.

Week 2 O/U Parlay – Alabama (O61 ½), Washington State (U46 ½), Kansas (O57 ½)

We have something of a future preview this weekend, with Alabama and Texas, who will soon be in the same conference, going head-to-head. Bama looked offensively sound in Week 1, and I think we get a ton of points in this one.

Traditionally, the Wisconsin Badgers are a team built to play sound defensive football. They have a tough one this weekend with Washington State their next opponent, and I think we will see a tight defensive battle.

Kansas strolled to victory in their opening game of the season, while the West Virginia Mountaineers came up short in a high-scoring affair in their opener. Two good offenses might mean some big numbers, so let’s go with the OVER.
