NBA Betting Predictions & Picks: Warriors vs Cavaliers, Heat vs Mavericks, Nets vs Jazz

The weekend is almost upon us, and we have a lot of great sports action to look forward to. I am all about spreading my betting dollars across several different sports, which is why I am going to be taking a look at some NBA games to bet on this weekend. There will be previews of games on Friday and Saturday, but for the purposes of this piece, we are going to focus solely on the Friday night action. We are getting closer to the trade deadline, with teams preparing to make decisions on how to move forward. The potential buyers and sellers might well be decided over the next few games, so expect the intensity to rise. With all that said, let’s get to the Friday NBA games that we like for wagering so you don’t miss your chance to bet against the NBA Odds.

Best 2023 NBA Games to Bet On Friday and Analysis

Golden State Warriors at Cleveland Cavaliers

The Golden State Warriors are sitting at 22-22 on the season, but things would be a whole lot better for them if they could play all their games at home. The Warriors are an impressive 17-5 in their own building, yet they are just 5-17 on the road. Things are not about to get any easier this Friday, as the Dubs will travel to Cleveland to face a Cavaliers team who are 28-18 on the season, as well as being 19-4 in their own building. Both teams have the same 6-4 record over the last 10 games but those records that we just discussed make it clear that the Warriors are going to have their hands full on the road in Cleveland.

Miami Heat at Dallas Mavericks

This will be the first of 2 meetings for these teams this season, with both currently sitting in playoff spots in their respective conferences. The Heat have been hanging around the play-in line for a large portion of the season, and while they are currently above it in the #6 seed, a loss here could see them fall back below it. Dallas is in the #5 seed in the Western Conference right now, but they are also heading in the wrong direction after losing each of their last 3 games. They might well be a little vulnerable at this point, although they have been good in their own building, going 16-7. Compare that to Miami, who are 11-12 on the road and you have an intriguing matchup here.

Brooklyn Nets at Utah Jazz

For a moment, it looked as though the Brooklyn Nets were going to make a serious charge at the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference. Their hot streak has come to an end, though, as they have now lost 3 in a row to fall to 27-16 on the season, which has them in the #5 seed, 5 games out of first place in the conference. The Utah Jazz have been playing .500 ball for most of the season, but they have won each of their last 2 games and are back above the playoff line in the #6 seed in the Western Conference. The Nets will still feel that this game represents an opportunity to break free of their losing skid, as they are 14-9 on the road this season.
