This presents great betting opportunities, and we’re going to dive into some of the best matchups for this weekend. With some teams on a roll, we’ll take a closer look at the NBA Betting matchups you won’t want to miss.

Who Should We Bet On this Weekend in the NBA Week 15 Action?

Memphis Grizzlies vs Los Angeles Lakers

On Friday, January 20th, the Memphis Grizzlies (31-13) are on fire, and they are a lock to take care of business against the Los Angeles Lakers as they look to take over the top spot in the Western Conference. Memphis has not only rattled off 11 straight victories, but their defense has been out of this world, and they have the depth to compete with any team in the league.

Ja Morant provides a consistent MVP performance, and when Jaren Jackson Jr. is on the floor, he is the X-factor on the defensive end for this Grizzlies team. Although they are young, Memphis has quickly improved and used their experience from last year to dominate teams.

The Los Angeles Lakers (20-25) have struggled with injuries and have struggled without their big man Anthony Davis. While the Lakers play their best at home, they have only one win in their last five games. Expect the Grizzlies to jump all over the Lakers as they look to overtake the top spot in the West.

Boston Celtics vs Toronto Raptors

The Boston Celtics (34-12) are on an eight-game winning run, have the best record in the NBA, and just won back-to-back games on the road against the Hornets. Additionally, Boston came back from an 11-point deficit against the Warriors to continue their winning streak, and they are clicking on all cylinders headed into this one.

Boston owns one of the most formidable offensive tandems in the league, with Jayson Tatum averaging 31.1 points and 8.3 rebounds and Jaylen Brown who is averaging 27.2 points and 7.1 boards. Coupled with excellent defense, led by Marcus Smart, the Celtics have cemented themselves as the NBA Championship favorites.

They will take on the Toronto Raptors (20-26) on the road, and the Raptors have struggled, failing to cover three of their last four games. Toronto has struggled to recover from some extended losing streaks. Between the end of November and the middle of December, the Raptors dropped nine of their eleven games, and from the end of December to the start of January, they suffered another six defeats. Take advantage of the Boston Celtics strong play on Saturday, January 21st, against the Raptors.

Oklahoma Thunder vs Denver Nuggets

When the Denver Nuggets (32-12) are healthy, they are arguably the most dangerous team in the entire league. Denver has won eight straight games, and Nikola Jokic has recorded five triple-doubles in his last six contests. In addition, the Denver Nuggets have the best home record in the league with a 21-3 mark.

The Nuggets’ offensive attack is one of the most potent in the league. In addition to averaging over 117 points per game, Denver leads the league in field goal percentage (51%) and Three-Point field goal percentage (39.7). The offensive efficiency is light out when Jamal Murray and Jokic are on the floor together, and the abundance of shooters on the Nuggets’ roster will challenge the Thunder.

The Oklahoma City Thunder (22-23) have put together a nice four-game winning streak at the time of this writing, but they struggle on the road with just a 8-14 record. Denver has also covered the spread in 12 of their last 16 contests, making them a prime target to bet on for their Sunday, January 22nd matchup.
