The Chiefs, on the other hand, look like a Super Bowl favorite with their play down the stretch. Kansas City has rattled off seven straight wins and found themselves safely in first with a win over the Chargers last week. 

Despite that success, Patrick Mahomes still doesn’t quite look like himself out there as his performances have been good but not great. The Chiefs have been dealing with some offensive line issues, but they have tremendous resilience and find ways to win.

For that reason, Mahomes was able to lead a second-half comeback as he tossed three touchdowns, including two to Travis Kelce, who caught the game-winner in overtime.

Defensively, the Chiefs started out as one of the worst defenses against the pass and have tightened things up immensely. However, they went back to their old ways as they conceded almost 500 yards of offense to the Chargers. Including allowing 192 yards on the ground.

Ultimately, the Chiefs unit has rebounded from a slow start allowing just 23.3 points per game this year. However, they’ll have a tough matchup against a strong Steelers rushing attack.
