UEFA European Soccer – Players Transfer Betting Update

2021 European League Soccer Transfer Window

  • When: July 1 – August 31

Jadon Sancho is now a Red Devil

Finally, Jadon Sancho is a Man United player. Sancho, an English citizen, joins a Man U squad that finished closest to the Sky Blues on the EPL Standings.

United immediately becomes a favorite, along with Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool, to win the 2021-2022 Premier League title.

How will Sancho help the Red Devils? Adding Sancho means Man United can part ways with a player like Edison Cavani, who although great is 34.

If United keeps Cavani, Sancho’s passing skills allows him to play a sort of forward/midfield position, which means Man U. could transfer Paul Pogba to Paris Saint-Germain.

Pogba to PSG is one of the hottest transfer rumors out there. Don’t be surprised if that happens now that Sancho is in the fold. Marcus Rashford, Sancho, and young Amad Diallo gives Manchester U a plethora of options at the forward and, or midfield positions.

Allegri signals Juvy will keep Ronaldo

Massimiliano Allegri made Juventus a soccer club power. Now that Allegri is back, many believed he might want to transfer Ronaldo.

Based on Allegri’s latest statement, a transfer won’t happen. At a recent news conference, Allegri said, “I spoke to Ronaldo, as well as other players yesterday. I told him that next season is an important one and that I’m happy to see him again. But also that he will have more responsibility than three years ago, when he joined a more experience squad. I expect, not only lots of goals from Ronaldo, but also the example of the experienced player he is.”

The statements imply that Ronaldo stays at Juvy for another season. If he doesn’t perform to Allegri’s standards, both as a goal scorer and as a leader, Massimiliano, no doubt, will move him next summer.

Chelsea looking to add Sevilla player Kounde

Sevilla should soon send Jules Kounde to Stamford Bridge for a 70 million EURO price tag. Kounde started 33 matches for Seville this past season.

Tuchel wants to add a Premier League trophy next to another UCL piece of hardware. Kounde is an excellent defender who should only help Thomas Tuchel’s reigning Champions League squad defend their title.

Adding Kounde, no doubt, will help in that regard. Don’t expect the Blues to stop with Kounde. Rumors continue to swirl that Chelsea is planning on making a play for Dortmund player Erling Haaland. If Tuchel pulls that off, the odds on Chelsea to win the UCL and EPL will dramatically dive.

U.S. National and Barcelona player Dest will stay at Camp Nou

This past season, defender Sergino Dest started 23 times for Barcelona. The U.S. born player has impressed so much at the CONCACAF Gold Cup that Monaco, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Arsenal have made inquiries.

Dest has turned all of them down because he wants to stay at Camp Nou. Barca has backed up Dest’s wishes.

Not moving Dest makes sense because he’s a young, excellent player. But in one way, it also doesn’t make sense.

Barcelona may not have the funds to resign Lionel Messi. Yes, there’s a contract on the table and Messi has agreed to it, but Barca must fix their finances before Messi can play for them.

The worse scenario is that Messi doesn’t join his teammates until January, 2022. Moving Dest could have freed up enough capital to get Messi to Camp Nou by the start of the La Liga Season. Not moving Dest makes the Messi deal even more difficult to pull off.
