We’re down to the final four Europa League teams. The two favorites among the four are both English Premier League teams, Manchester United and Arsenal. Villareal, the third choice, is part of La Liga’s Primera Division. AS Roma is an Italy Serie A squad. Is Manchester United or Arsenal the team to beat? Or will one of the underdogs take it to the favorites and win this year’s Europa League Final? Let’s try to answer those questions for you so you can get all set to make your bets against their Europa League odds.

Europa League Odds to Win: Man United an Even Money Chalk

Odds to Win the 2021 UEFA Europa League

Does Manchester United offer fair odds to win the championship?

Manchester United is the chalk to win the Europa League. United offers decent +100 odds. Are the odds fair?

Man U has played like one of the better club teams in soccer. More often than not, they’ve proven they can hang with some of the best squads from any league.

On March 7, Manchester United beat rival Manchester City 2-0. Since then, they’ve played close to flawless soccer, but United isn’t unbeatable. Leicester bested them 3-1 on March 21.

If you often back chalk in league tournaments like the Europa or the Champions League, it’s tough to find better odds than +100. Since we’re down to the Europa League’s final four, grabbing the +100 makes some sense.

But if you believe United comes up to one of their bad games, and they’ve had a few this season, they’re a play against.

Analyze Arsenal’s chances of taking the title?

Like Manchester United, Arsenal is either an overlay or an underlay. Assessing the Gunners’ chances of winning the Europa League Final depends on whether you think they can a) get past Villareal in the semis and b) if they can beat either Roma or Man United in the finals.

Sounds logical, right? But it’s more than a simple statement. First, Arsenal will find it difficult to beat Villareal. The Spanish Primera Division squad is in terrific form and have already proven they can beat non-Liga Liga teams with ease.

Second, Arsenal can have bad days. The Gunners drew with Fulham on April 18, drew with Burnley in March, and dropped games to both Wolverhampton and Aston Villa in February.

If Arsenal beats Villareal, they may have an easier time against a team they know, Man U, than a team they don’t, AS Roma. So depending how you feel about Roma versus United, Arsenal is either an overlay at the current odds or an underlay.

Between Villareal and Roma, which underdog has the best shot of winning the Europa League?

Villareal is a decent team. They have yet to beat one of the top squads in La Liga, Real, Atletico, or Barca, but they did hang with Real in the last head-to-head and drew with Atletico last fall.

More importantly, Villareal is on a tear. They dominated Levante 5-1 in a revenge match on April 18. The Primera Division squad is a legit contender.

Roma must turn their form around and they must do it quickly. The 1-3 loss to Torino on April 18 is worrisome. Then again, Roma could be concentrating on the Europa League and, no doubt, they faced the toughest opponent in the quarters.

Roma had to beat Ajax on the aggregate. Ajax has a 23-3-2 record in the Dutch Eredivisie.

If you’re a chalk bettor, go with United or Arsenal. But if you like to back underdogs, dig deep to find the winner between Villareal and Roma. Both have a shot to win the 2021 Europa League.
