NBA Week 15 Betting Picks & Predictions for this Weekend’s Best Matches

Written by on January 26, 2023

The weekend is almost upon us, and while most of us wager on a daily basis, there are plenty of bettors who wait for the weekend to roll around before dipping into their bankroll. There are a lot of games to choose from, though, and since playing every game is often the quickest way to lose money, we have looked at the upcoming NBA schedule and picked out a few games that we think you should be looking at. We will have a few more of these for the Saturday games, but we are going to get the ball rolling on the Friday schedule. It’s not a busy night, but there are a few games for NBA betting that jump out, so let’s get to it.

Top Week 15 Betting Matchups and Picks for this Weekend

Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers

With Giannis back in the lineup after missing a few games with injury, the Milwaukee Bucks seem to be sliding back into a groove, winning each of their last 2 games. They are sitting at a very respectable 31-17, but they have been a whole lot better at home than on the road, where they are playing .500 ball. The Pacers are down in the play-in zone and have been cold over the past few weeks, going just 2-8 in their last 10 games. They are, though, 16-9 in their own building, so this is not necessarily going to be a cakewalk for the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee won the only other meeting with Indiana this season.

Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves

Once you get beyond the top 3 in the Western Conference, the standings begin to tighten up rather dramatically. The Memphis Grizzlies are currently sitting in the #2 slot and are just 2 ½ games out of first. They are, though, vulnerable at the moment, as they have now lost 4 games in a row. Next up is a trip to Minnesota, who are looking to climb out of the play-in zone and into the top 6, and given that they are just a half game back, they could get there with a win in this one. These teams have already played twice this season, with the home team winning both of those games. With that in mind, might we see the Timberwolves pile on some more misery for the Grizzlies?

Toronto Raptors at Golden State Warriors

The rest of the Friday night schedule is a little underwhelming, but there is something about this matchup that I find to be intriguing. If the season were to end today, the Raptors would be sitting at home, out of the playoffs. That said, they are just a game back of the final play-in spot and have won 2 in a row, so might we be seeing something of a resurgence? The Warriors have proven to be a Jekyll and Hyde team this season, playing great at home and looking totally lost on the road. One of the exceptions was a rather convincing road win when they played Toronto earlier in the season, so you would certainly expect them to replicate that at home, where they are 16-6 on the season.
