College Football is underway! We had some interesting "Week 0" games take place, and now we are ready for the full gauntlet of games. Week 1 has arrived. We have some games we love and think you should bet on and some games we are afraid of and suggest you avoid.

Let’s start with five games we suggest you bet on, one for each day of College Football this weekend.

We love the Utes here. Experienced, well-coached, physical and tough. This game is played in Utah. The Florida Gators are a shell of the program they used to be. Starting Graham Mertz under center is not the answer for the Gators. Utah is going to roll to a win in this one.

It’s an Atlantic Coast Conference game right out of the shoot. This game will be played in Atlanta, which gives the Yellow Jackets a little bit of a crowd advantage.

The Yellow Jackets hope to use their rushing tools to defeat the Cardinals. Look for this to be a competitive game, and it should come in under the touchdown + that the oddsmakers are placing it at.

I’m not totally sold on Coach Prime and his Buffaloes. But the TCU Horned Frogs have lost some outstanding talent from a season ago.

There is no reason Colorado cannot come out with their athletes, albeit young and inexperienced, and compete with the Horned Frogs. Sure, it’s a tough road atmosphere, but it’s a game Colorado can compete in. Colorado covers.

The Sunday game. San Jose State got smacked around a little by USC. But the Beavers are not the Trojans. San Jose State’s game experience will have a little advantage in this game.

Look for San Jose State to win the time-possession battle and keep this game close throughout. Do not be surprised if the Spartans pull the upset, but the +17 seems to be in pretty good shape here.

Duke Blue Devils vs. Clemson Tigers

The final game of the College Football weekend. Another Atlantic Coast Conference game. The Duke Blue Devils get to stay at home and welcome Dabo Swinney’s Tigers to town. Clemson still has too many question marks to be too confident about them.

Duke can score and will play enough defense. This could be a 10-point game, but I find it hard to believe the Blue Devils cannot keep it under two touchdowns. Taking Duke is the right answer here.

The Wolf Pack are going to be solid this season. But they have to go on the road to a Huskies team that will be better than many think. Look for the Huskies to keep this game close and give North Carolina State a little bit of a scare to start the season.

An inner state battle. The Chippewas, out of the MAC, have nothing to lose going to East Lansing. The Spartans are going to want to figure a few things out and could get off to a slow start.

Central Michigan is likely going to have a tough time pulling the outright upset, but keeping this under two scores can and should be done.

The Bruins have to be on upset watch here. UCLA is going to have to figure out how they want to move the football this season effectively. Many are high on the Bruins still, but it will be a struggle from the start. Look for Coastal Carolina to keep this a competitive football game on Saturday.
