With that said, let’s get right to it so you can prepare your bets for the upcoming season and place them against our NBA odds.

NBA Rumors Flying Fast & Furious | Nov. 16th Edition

Hield In Demand

It’s no secret that Sacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield wants out after losing his starting job last season and basically not  seeing eye to eye with head coach Luke Walton. Ironically, Hield just signed a 4-year, $94 million contract extension but now, things have reached the point of no return and several teams are reportedly in hot pursuit of Hield.

Rumors say that Hield wants to go to play for the Dallas Mavericks alongside Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis with the Mavs rumored to be offering some sort of package that includes either the 19th or 31st picks in the draft, along with a veteran or two, including Seth Curry and/or Tim Hardaway Jr. This rumor could very well happen, so stay tuned.

On another front, the Philadelphia 76ers are also rumored to be in pursuit of Hield, who put up 19.2 points per game while making 44 starts and playing in 72 games in total. Philadelphia could offer up a number of packages in return for Hield, including moving Josh Richardson and/or Al Horford in any deal. Again, stay tuned for this rumor.

Lakers to Acquire Schroeder, Green on the Move

The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly agreed to a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder that will bring them veteran point guard Dennis Schroeder in exchange for veteran Danny Green and a package that includes other as yet, unnamed players and/or draft picks. Schroeder averaged 18.9 points per game this past season. As for Green, the Thunder are already looking to move the veteran 3 and D, three-time champion. Toronto and Philadelphia could both be landing spots for Green.

C’s Looking to Move Up

A recent rumor says the Boston Celtics have offered the Cleveland Cavaliers their 14th pick and another pick to move up in the draft. The Cavs own the fifth overall pick in the draft and could make this deal in order to add youth to their latest rebuild. In addition to the 14th overall pick, Boston also owns the 26th and 30th picks in the first round. The 17-time NBA champions are also rumored to be in talks with Atlanta, Detroit and the New York Knicks who pick sixth, seventh and eighth overall.

Toronto To Retain VanVleet

Another recent rumor says the Toronto Raptors might match any offer sheet for Fred VanVleet, who could be offered close to max contract this offseason. VanVleet is in line for a deal worth up to $117.3 million over four years, so stay tuned on this deal as well.

Melo Back to Knicks?

Recent rumors say the New York Knicks are interested in a reunion with hometown star Carmelo Anthony after he ‘showed out’ for the Portland Trail Blazers this past season. New York also wants to reportedly add veteran floor leader Chris Paul and he and Anthony are close friends. Anthony’s former agent Leon Rose is now the President of the Knicks, so this one could happen, believe it or not.

Russ to Knicks?

Another rumor concerning the Knicks has the franchise reportedly weighing making an offer for the 32-year-old former league MVP, who put up 27.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.6 steals in 57 games with Houston this past season. This rumor has some life to it, so, we’ll see what happens.

Hayward on Knicks Radar?

The Knicks are also reportedly looking at acquiring Boston Celtics small forward Gordon Hayward, who could still choose to opt in to the final year of his deal with the Celtics, which has $34.2 million remaining. Boston will almost assuredly look to move Hayward in a sign-and-trade deal, so stay tuned on this one.

Harden, Westbrook Headed For Divorce

No one should be surprised at all that recent rumors say James Harden and Russell Westbrook don’t want to playing alongside each other anymore – or in Houston for that matter. With both players almost certainly leaving H-Town, these two getting a divorce won’t be a problem.

Warriors and Spurs Talking Trade?

The Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs are reportedly discussing a potential trade involving veteran big man LaMarcus Aldridge, their 11th overall pick and Golden State’s second overall pick. Reports say the Spurs would like to move up in the draft in order to nab big man James Wiseman, so stay tuned for this one.

Is Brooklyn In The House?

Last but certainly not least, there’s a rumor going around that says the Brooklyn Nets could try to acquire James Harden from the Rockets for a package that includes Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie and promising big man Jarrett Allen. This one really could happen with Brooklyn looking to acquire a third star to go along with Kevin Durant and Kyrie and both stars already being close friends with Harden.
