So many things can happen with the conference finals matchups in both the East and the West. None of the series that have already started will provide any clarity until at least three games have been played. Everything will be close until things actually wrap up.

Hawks Vs Nets?

If the Atlanta Hawks manage to pull the upset on the 76ers, it would be huge. They are already paying big bucks for the roster, but perhaps a trade or two could be in order to try and improve, should they make it that far.

Trae Young is hated by so many around the league right now but is embraced strongly by his own. He is just what the Hawks needed, and perhaps trading Doncic is not as crazy as it was on draft night.

Brooklyn is a near-lock to win the East, so we can all but eliminate those Bucks. Should they manage to fall, though, it would be a shock. The point guard matchup would be a lot of fun, and with Harden back, both teams would be running the score up early and often.

76ers Vs Nets?

Philly and Brooklyn is the matchup that experts expected, the #1 vs the #2 seed. A healthy Embiid would make this so much fun to see and behold.

If Joel was not healthy, though, Brooklyn in 4 would be the only acceptable choice. Ben Simmons and his defensive prowess would be on full display. He would be playing D on all the best Nets for 48 minutes.

Suns Vs Jazz?

Phoenix and Utah were the top two seeds in the West. And if they met up in the conference finals, it would be a blast. Phoenix has not reached the finals since the mid-’90s, just like their counterpart.

And both teams ran into a guy named Michael Jordan, so they had virtually no shot at claiming a title. The Jazz lost two titles to those Bulls, but this version would face an even tougher foe in the modern era in Brooklyn.

Gobert vs. Ayton. Booker vs Mitchell. Clarkson vs Payne. The cross-matchups would be incredible, and it would possibly go seven games.

Suns Vs Clippers?

Imagine if the Clippers, once down 3-2 to Dallas in round one, make it past round two? The franchise has never been able to do that, and if they managed now, it would be quite the feat.

Paul is going against one of his old teams, trying to keep them struggling. Booker and George are going at it. Jae Crowder is trying to slow down Kawhi Leonard. It would be a blast to see all the dynamic scoring and to see Phoenix have Ayton dominate against the poor bigs of L.A.

Nuggets Vs Jazz?

Denver will have their chances to beat Phoenix, but it will not be easy. Should they get it done, they will play Utah. The team probably has the best recipe for limiting Nikola Jokic’s impact.

Rudy Gobert is likely the DPOY this year, which would make it his third time winning the award. That being said, him serving as the anchor on D would open up the transition game.

The shooting would be electric, but the Jazz would likely come away as winners.
