Meanwhile, with a 3-8 record, the Los Angeles Rams are currently last in the NFC West with a minimal chance at the playoffs.

This game between the Seahawks and the Rams should be one to watch as these two rivals always battle it out. Which NFC West team will come out on top in this one? Let’s take a closer look and give you the best bets for this Seahawks vs Rams matchup.

Seattle Seahawks Betting Preview: Seahawks Find Themselves Out of the Playoff Picture

It was a disappointing week for the Seahawks as they dropped their second straight game, and now they find themselves on the outside of the playoffs looking in with a 6-5 record. It was a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Raiders 40-34, that saw them squander a seven-point lead.

This season, the Seahawks’ offense is ranked 12th (353.9 yards per game), while they are fourth in scoring with 26.5 points per game on average. Geno Smith has been outstanding in the post-Russell Wilson era. The veteran QB has 19 touchdowns, and five straight games with at least two touchdown passes. Ken Walker III is also a player to watch as the rookie running back has nine touchdowns in his last seven games.

While the offense has been potent in Seattle, they have had the most trouble on the defensive side of the ball. In addition to giving up 40 points last week, the defensive unit ranks 30th overall, allowing 388.7 yards, and holds the fifth-worst scoring defense allowing 25.5 points per game.

Los Angeles Rams Betting Preview: Rams Look to Get Back in the Win Column

The Rams are having a dismal season so far in 2022, which is even more surprising given that they just won the Super Bowl in February. They are currently 3-8 through 11 games and their record is the worst start for the franchise since 2011. Los Angeles will look to avoid their sixth straight loss when they welcome the Seahawks on Sunday.

The Rams offense has been absolutely terrible this season as they rank 31st in yards per game with an average of 279. Los Angeles has had injury issues all year and it has shown on the stats sheet as the Rams’ offense is averaging only 16.2 points per game, the fourth-worst in the NFL. It has been a revolving door of starters on offense and it looks like Matthew Stafford could miss another game under center.

After recording their fifth consecutive loss, the Rams rank 18th with 23.0 points allowed per game and are the second-worst team in the NFL in terms of total defensive yards allowed per game (279.8).

The Seahawks have a lot more to play for in this game than the Rams at this point in the season. The Seahawks have recently had trouble though, losing their last two contests. Seattle is still competing for a postseason position and the NFC West division title despite their recent dismal showing.

The Los Angeles Rams, on the other hand, appear to be planning their season for 2023 already. The Rams have been without a number of important players; most significantly, their quarterback Matthew Stafford has missed a number of games because of injuries to his shoulder and head.

The Rams are 3-7-1 ATS, including going 1-3-1 over their previous five games, while the Seahawks are 4-2 ATS over their past six games. Expect the Seahawks to get back in the win column and cover the spread in this matchup.
